We finish classes and begin to head to the house. Kai looks at me. "Yes?" He looks ahead of him and smiles. "We have two things to do when we get to my house." That was true. Though. I don't want to. I wanna go home and rest. The school actually wasn't that far from his house. So we walk on the house and Kai grabs my hand and drags me upstairs. "We need to figure out what causes it. Soo..." Kai picks me up and throws me on the bed. "What should we do first? Your punishment or figure out what that pain is....." At this point I didn't care. Kai picks me up and takes me to a wall and pins me to it. Though this time he was really hurting my arms. He lifts my head up and licks my neck. I don't know what to do. Kai stops licking my neck and he goes to one spot. And bites me. "Argh! K-Kai do you understand how m-much this h-hurts?" I dont know why he moves so much when he bites me. But it doesn't feel good. I could feel him breathing on my skin. It gave me cold chills. Kai pushes against my arms. "Kai....get away.!" I push Kai off of me. He looks shocked and light-headed. I hold my neck. Shaking. Kai calls for his father. I get on my knees. Blood dripping on the carpet. Coughing. Kai's father comes up to the room. Fighting to stay up I look back. I want to be helped. The room spinning. I close my eyes. I can't stay awake any longer. I pass out.
I wake up in a hospital room. I have wires connected to me. One taking a liquid from me. I'm not sure what it was. I was gonna freak out. But I decided that it wasn't a good idea. I hear someone knock on the door. But they came in. She was a nurse. She seemed shocked that I was awake. "Oh..hi sweetie! I just have to make sure that the venom is draining." Venom? What does that mean? I try and speak. But obviously it wasn't working. I get the nurses attention and use sign language. "Where is Kai?" The nurse looked a little confused. I guess she didn't know sign language. She hands me a notepad to write it down. I show her the notepad and she seems confused. "Why do you wanna see him? He is the one that did this." I write on the notepad "He didn't mean to. He has to do that to live." She starts to walk away. "I'll get him for you." After she shut the door I look around. This hospital isn't the same as- Wait. They know about vampires. Hm. Kai walks in. He looks a little upset. He walks to me. "How are you?" He sounds like he could break at any moment. I grab the notepad and write "I'm okay. Kinda in pain. But fine. How about you?" He seemed shocked. "I'm fine. Why do you have a notepad?" I was about to do sign language then remembered that I had the notepad. "I can't talk right now. I tried to use sign language to the nurse but she didn't know what I was saying. Soooo." He laughed. "Well. I know sign. So. You don't have to write anymore." That's a relief. "Where are we? And what is this tube?" I show Kai the tube. "Oh. That tube is to get the venom out." I'm so confused. "Venom? What does that mean?" Ya know. I'm kinda scared. "The venom is what turns you to a vampire. I accidentally put some in you when I bit you. They have to get it out cause I don't want you to turn. I kinda got carried away.." That's confusing. "How do you..get the venom in someone?" He looked away like he didn't want to tell me. "Well. When we take the blood we can push out venom. It usually hurts more than a regular bite. But since I move when I take your blood I don't think it hurt you more." Yea. You do move. You move a lot. "Yea. You do move. Why do you move?" How much you wanna bet he doesn't know? "Well. I'm not completely sure. But sometimes it's easier to get blood like that." Hmm. I'm surprised he knows sign language. "When do I get to leave?" I look at the tube taking out The venom. It kinda hurts. "I think the nurse said once all the venom is drained. But I'll go check." I don't want him to leave. But okay. Kai gets up and leaves the room. Why is all this happening?
