I step off the train and onto the platform. I fix my hat on my head. I scan the crowd of people and finally spot my brother. I smile and walk over to him with open arms.
We head into multiple shops buying everything I need shoes, trousers, shirts, tops, perfumes and coats.
We walk to the barber shop that's the driver said to go to.
The place is busy but a man pulls us to the back room and sits me down in a chair.
"He dressed the situation up" he says
He pulls out a large razor and I flinch as it comes closer.
"Don't worry" he says.
In half an hour my hair is done.
"Go get changed. It would be weird if someone sees you like this" he says pointing to the bathroom.
I get changed out of my dress and into black trousers a black turtle neck and a black trench coat. I pull on my black boots and lace them up. I put my other clothes into my bag and step back into the room. my brother glances up from his news paper in his hands and smiles, looking at me up and down. I fix my rings and watch and return his smile.
"looks good Ace" he says smirking.
"He cleans up pretty well doesn't he?" the barber says cleaning the place up a bit.
I scoff before replying "course I do" and slinging the bag over my shoulder.
"even sounds like a guy" Abel says getting up and putting on his blazer.
"You also wear a lot of rings for a guy""shut up" I roll my eyes at him.
he shakes his head and wraps an arm round my shoulders.
"you know I never do" he says pulling me out the shop.
we hop into the car and Ben does a double take once he sees me before smiling.
"should we see Ellie today, i'm sure she misses you and then we can go to a restaurant for dinner" Abel says.
"if the food is good then you know I cant reject that offer" I say.
"the stuff there is amazing" he say smiling.
we pull up in front of a row of shops and get out. we walk into a perfume shop, the strong aroma of different scents mixed together hit me all at once but I quickly get used to it as I scan the walls lined with glass cases filled with different bottled scents.
Abel talks to the sales assistant as I scan the shelves.
"Ace" Abel calls catching my attention, I look at him and raise my eyebrows non-verbally asking him what's wrong.
"they said that Ellie is out and will be back in twenty minuets, want to stick around and wait or do you want to head into other shops?" Abel asks.
"whatever, I don't mind" I say returning my gaze to the perfumes.
"lets come back in ten then" he says dragging me out the shop.
"where to?" he asks.
"gosh you're so indecisive" I groan looking up at the different signs.
"let's get some flowers for Ellie" he says tugging me down the street.
"Abel!" I exclaim. as we walk to the flower shop I see a shop that catches my eye. I yank my arm out of his hold and shove my hands in my trouser pockets and walk next to him.
"I know which one to go to after" I say.
"sure, whatever you want" he says
we walk into the flower shop, the flourist appears behind the counter and smiles greeting us.
