"I can not believe that you disposed of those vampires without me, you know how I love to set things on fire," Rebekah grumbled to Klaus.
"Was I supposed to leave them in the front lawn to rot?" Klaus replied. "Besides, they were my responsibility. They attacked the helpless, pregnant girl who's carrying my child."
"Oh, I am so moved by your newfound sense of fatherly duty towards the werewolf carrying your hubrod bun in her oven," Rebekah countered.
Klaus chuckled at his sister and her obvious indifference towards him.
"The werewolf would like to know what the plan is," Hayley said, entering the room.
"As would I, the lesser important pregnant woman," I grimace, listening to their endless bickering.
"Well that would depend on what plan you mean, love," Klaus answered. "My plan for global domination, or Rebekah's plan to find love in a cruel, cruel world."
Rebekah hummed at his sarcastically, grabbing a pencil and throwing it at her old brother to which he caught.
"The plan to rescue Elijah," Hayley answered exasperated. "You know, the good brother. The one who is now in the possession of your mortal enemy after you stab him in the back."
"In the front, of we're being specific," he answered coyly.
"Klaus, now is not the time to be making jokes with an angry, hormonal, werewolf," I whispered, patting his back.
"You two said you would get him back," she said, gesturing to Klaus and Rebekah, "so is there a plan, or what?"
The siblings shared a look before Klais spoke up, gesturing us to follow. "Ok. Well, firstly, Marcel is not my mortal enemy. He's my friend, albeit one who is unaware that I am trying to sabotage his hold over the supernatural community of the French Quarter, but a friend nontheless, and secondly I daggered Elijah in order to gain Marcel's trust. If I had known he would plac my brother in the hands of a particularly nasty teenage witch, I certainly would have weighed my options a bit differently, and thirdly, sister, please," Klaus said, gesturing towards his sister whilst he sat at, feet propped up on his desk.
I was typically against betrayal of friends and ones trust, but I don't know what it was, maybe the pregnancy hormones, but Klaus made it so hot.
"And thirdly," Rebekah proceeded, "the plan, as you have demanded, is for Niklaus to simply ask Marcel for Elijah back."
Hayley looked between the blonde squad, staring at them as if each had grown a second head. "That's-That's not the whole plan, is it?"
Rebekah scoffed. "Oh, please. Klais may be a miserable excuse for a sibling, but there is non more diabolical," she explained, turning to Klaus.
Both Hayley and I looked over at him, a casual smirk on is ever more handsome face. "Well, that's only the plan 'A,' love. There's always a plan 'B,' " he answered nonchalantly.
"And what's plan 'B?' " Hayley asked, albeit somewhat hesitantly.
Klaus smirked, hands held together, an ever larger pit forming in the base of my stomach as the words left his mouth. "War."

I sat atop my bed, scrolling through my phone, mindlessly showering people in self esteem and privilege as I liked their photos.
Looking down towards my tummy, I quickly fled my social media, texting Rebekah and asking of she could buy me a few pregnancy and parenting books while she was out.
Bored and sickly I wandered down the stairs, heading for the woods around the house.
"Where are you going?" Hayley asked as I pulled open the door.
"For a stroll, I'm oufully bored and quite frankly, I can't standing being cooped inside this house much longer."
"Wait, I want to come with," Hayley suggest, earning a sogh from me.
"Hayley, as a werewolf, you are bammed from the Quarter, I, however, am not."
"And of Klaus catches you, then what?" She asked, arms crossed.
"You honestly think I'm afraid of Klaus? The worst he could do to me is kill my child, because other than that, I have nothing to lose. I've lived a long full life and I'm tired. I honestly think the only reason I haven't ended my life yet is because of this," I places my hand over my stomach," little bun in my oven. Being pregnant is probably the most exciting thing in my life right now and it's getting boring."
"What are you?" Hayley asked, staring at me intently. "You're not a witch, werewolf, or vampire, but you don't seem entirely human," Hayley observed.
I smiled. "You have a keen eye. Come with me," dragging the she wolf out behind the house, I shrugged off my jacket rolling my shoulders back.
With a whoosh of wind, Hayley's eyes grew twice their size.
"Y-You have wings. You're an a..." I cut her off before she could finish.
"An angel," rolling my shoulders once more, my wings disappeared and I turned back towards Hayley. "But you can't tell anyone. It's bad enough I told you. My father's been hunting me down and trying to being me back to the silver city ever since he found out I was pregnant. I have nine, glorious months before I have to return, because the second this baby is born, he'll find me."
"I-I promise. And I promise, I won't let your father take you, or your baby," She said, taking my hand.
I smiled at the wolf girl, a new found sense of friendship blossoming within my heart. "Thank you."
