"Klaus, please," I begged as he tossed items and screamed.
"You have decieved me, lead me on. All this time you've known exactly who I was, to the first words I uttered, slowly worming your way into my life, trying to make me fall for you. What do you want from me! Have you come to kill me?"
"No," my voice broke. "I-I could never hurt you."
"Why? Why should I believe you didn't come in, spreading your legs, leading me on like the tramp you are if not to hurt me," I scolded, grabbing me by the throat and pinning me up against a wall.
"Be-Because I could never hurt the man I l-love," I chocked out.
Klaus faltered for a second, something flashing in his eyes before he returned to his outrage. "I don't believe you."
"For a thousand years I've w-watched over you, slowly, but surely falling in l-love with you. You are th-the first man I have e-ever loved. You w-were my first everything. First kiss f-first love, first time. I-If I'd wanted you dead, you already would have been."
"What are you really?" He asked, glaring his eyes at me.
"I really am an angle," I gurgled, holding onto his wrist.
"Non sense, angles don't exist."
I shrugged back my shoulders the best I could in this situation, pain ripped through my shoulders and the two white feathered ligaments that expanded from my back.
Utterly astonished, Klaus' hold on me lessened, and I fell to my hands and knees.
I could feel something brush against my wings, looking to my side, Klaus was crouched on the floor, running his hands over the feathered expanse.
"The babies, they'd be like you, angels?" He asked.
"Most likely," I struggle to get out, wheezing.
"Get up," Klaus said, grabbing hold of my arms. "I'm sorry," he spoke, holding my waist.
I didn't reply, simply sat down on my bed, unable to face him.
"My father warned me when I got involved with you," tears pulled at the corners of my eyes, "I should have listened to him."
Klaus squatted in front of me. Bringing his hands to my cheeks, he brushed away the tears with his thumbs, lifting my face to look at him.
"I can't expect you to forgive me so easily, but you must understand, having watched me all these years, I couldn't possibly fathom your truth. How could a girl like you be in love with a moster like me?"
I sniffled and brought his lips to my own. "Because I see the man behind the beast. To me you aren't the evil hybrid, you're Klaus, the abused, abandoned, distrustful man who's only wish is to be loved. I want to be that for you. I want to be by your side till eternity, because even if you don't feel the same way, I'm head over heels in love with you."
"I could see myself loving you. You're trust, caring, and unlike any woman I've ever met. You go as far as to not care if I was in love with another woman," he tried to joke.
I laughed. "As an angle, I understand that people could love many people at once, but everyone has a soulmate. And once you meet that person no amount of love you have for another person could take you away from them."
"So your my soulmate," Klaus smiled, his hands resting on my hips.
"Honestly Klaus, I think you might be mine. I've watched over millions of people, but none has ever stolen my heart like you have. And I know you don't feel the same way right now, but if you really are my soulmate, I don't doubt that you will.""I told you Agnes, I feel great," Hayley said, flipping through a magazine.
"You are overdue for a check up," she looked to me," both of you."
"What am I gonna do, pop into the Quarter for a quick ultrasound? A pregnant werewolf escorted by a witch? Nothing to see here."
I couldn't relate to Hayley in that sense, seeing as I was an angel and we were non existent as far as supernatural were concerned.
"A lot of women would kill to have a child," Rebekah spoke from the end of the room, typing away. "Strikes me as odd that you're not taking better care of yours.
"I know a doctor out in the bayou off the beaten path. Now I took the liberty of making an appointment for you two tonight after hours, just us. Vampires will never get word of it."
I looked to Hayley, she was the only one in real danger here. "Ok. Fine. Bayou baby doctor is," she agreed.
Agnes looked to me for my answer. "If Hayley's going, I'm going."
Agnes and Hayley left while I decided to stay, walking over towards Rebekah, looking at what she was so busy at.
"Please, sister, tell me you're not still at it with the internet search," Klaus said, walking into the room.
I flashed him a smile, in turn he smiled back, patting my shoulder, and I placed a hand over it before he moved over to pour him self a drink.
"How does one begin anyway, just type in 'anonymous attic'?"
"Someone has to find Elijah, even if I have to search every bloody attic in New Orleans."
"Like looking for a needle in a rather large pile or needles."
"I remember details about the attic Marcel took me to. There were shutters on the windows behind Elijah's coffin."
"Well that should narrow it down immensely," he replied sarcastically, walking over towards Rebekah and sitting across from her. "Myself, I prefer actual strategy as opposed to mind-numbing labor," Rebekah looked over at her brother as I took a seat besid her. "Marcel's delay in returning our brother makes me suspect he's no longer in charge of the situation. If Devina's loyalty to Marcel is strained, perhaps the young witch will be open to discussing a new alliance."
"As usual, your power grabs are more important than rescuing your brother," Rebekah said with venom laced lips.
"I prefer to think of it as killing two birds with one stone--rob Marcel of his secret weapon, being our brother home."
"Of course you would think of it that way," I scoff, rolling my eyes at his predictability. Getting up from the couch, I bid to the two siblings ado, wandering up towards me room.
