This is my ultimate goal—to keep him here until he finally learns what it means to be respectful of others. He doesn't understand how important this year is to me. Senior year of high school.
I have a lot of shit that hope and pray will go in my favour, first and far most being that I get into my dream school. I have to apply to universities along side scholarships which will already be stressful enough. Not to mention, I have all these events that I'll be in charge of since I'm the president of student government, and having to deal with William everywhere I go. Perfect.
I won't let him screw this up for me, even if that means I have to lie to my parents, drag his ass to the park every time he gets high, or just babysit him in general. I will do everything in my power to keep him here and nothing will stop me—but that doesn't mean I don't get to have fun doing it. Nobody said anything about me not playing my own game.

*Thursday*When I come back to school the next day, I make it my mission to annoy the hell out of him in every way I can possibly think of.
If he though poking me or calling me Ellie is considered annoying, just wait till he finds out what I have in mind.
Since our first class is English, there isn't much I can do, but I decide to start off at level one of annoyance. Calling him Willy Wonka every chance I get, tapping on my phone excessively loud to make purposeful clicking sounds that only he can hear when we aren't having a conversation, and answering all of his questions with 'what do you think?' rather than giving him a concrete answer.
We are filling out sections on our worksheet about "The Yellow Wallpaper" when he asks, "I don't get the point her seeing women behind the wallpaper. What is that supposed to represent?" This is literally the biggest plot twist and one of the most symbolic parts in the story. How does he not understand what it represent?!
I try my best to keep a poker face on without cringing at his question. "What do you think?" I answer, earning an irritated look. I can see Jo peering up, glancing in my direction with eyes that could be read as what are you up to?
I just leave it and give her a wink, smirking as I look back down at my paper to continue what I was doing with an agitated Willy Wonka beside me.
"I literally just asked you that question because I don't know. So can you tell me what it symbolizes?" He question again, in a more forceful tone.
"What do you think?" I reply in a heartbeat, looking down at my paper smirking when I'm answered with silence.
We continue class and William seems to figure out what I'm up to because he stops asking me questions and surprisingly enough, asks Joey.
Once the bell ring, he immediately leaves the room while I slowly pack my things, taking my sweet time to revel in victory from the success of annoying him during this block. This isn't even the biggest part of my plan today.
"Ella, what are you up to?" Joey abruptly question as I'm about to put the final item back into my bag.
"What do you think?" I question again, wiggling my eyebrows a her. Earning a eye roll and a playful punch, we leave the classroom and head to her next class.
"Seriously though, what are you up to Ella?" She questions when we begin walking. I internally debate whether I should tell her, but knowing she'll keep asking until I break, I tell her that I'll explain after school.
When the bell rings, I rush to get to my social justice class and by the time I get there, Ms.Clover has already begun talking. I get seated in my chair next to William and send her an apologetic smile, receiving a small grin back.
