Cori grew up in Forks, WA. She believed her life would be a bit boring with nothing adventurous. Her childhood was happy and she was always seen as a talkative girl. Her parents always described her as a "talkative" and "fun-loving girl." Throughout high school, she did cheer and was seen as pretty flexible. She met the Cullens when they first moved there and was intrigued by them. She talked to Alice and they seem to hit it off really quickly, but Jasper seemed to always stay away. Cori never thought much about it and just saw him as shy or not a people person. Jasper soon started to talk to her barely and they had a lot in common. Cori developed a crush on him and was shocked when he asked her on a date. They started dating and have been inseparable since. She learned about what the Cullens were from Embry. He was angry that she was with Jasper and he just blurted it out. She didn't believe him until she started to think back to the Quileute legends and realized they were true. Cori knew she should have been scared, but she wasn't. It took her time to accept it, but she always knew they wouldn't hurt her. Cori and Jasper have been going strong and she has decided she wants to be a vampire. She doesn't know he is planning on proposing.
