Stella grew up living the hunter lifestyle. Both of her parents were hunters and known throughout the community as good ones. Stella's parents knew John Winchester well and were friends with him. Stella became good friends with Sam and Dean that way. Stella's parents taught Stella how to hunt and to protect herself. When Stella was 17 years old, Stella's parents were murdered right in front of her. She was then knocked out and she woke up in a hospital. She was taken in by Ellen Harvelle. She moved out at 19 and still comes, visiting often. Stella started working at a bakery and the owner took her under his wing. He taught her everything there is to know about operating a business. When the owner passed away, Stella was only 21, but the owner left her business. He had specified that it was hers's and she should change the name. She changed the name to Just Add Sprinkles, and she has been running it ever since. The bakery has been very successful. Stella ran into Dean Winchester when he was passing through the town and the two them instantly had a connection. They ended up spending the night together and kept in touch after that. They started dating soon after that and she was there for him through everything. Now Dean has proposed and she is planning a wedding.
