"Life is unpredictable. Think after you leap." - Aries

~

Akari Manabu, Class President of the Aries Class 1-A. She excels in sports and academics and her personality has synced with her Star Sign at 98 percent. Her résumé is already as impressive as ever and it is only a mere four sentences that was written on the sheet.

A terrifying woman indeed.

Her eyes and hair are a bright shade of orange and they contrast nicely with her pale skin. I thought she looked really pretty and her sporty clothing suits her well.

"Hii there!" She yelled while waving at me with her entire arm waving in a wild manner.

I waved back (in a casual manner...) and when I arrived in front of her I noticed that she is a head shorter than me.

She glanced up at me and gave a bright smile.

"... Morning..." I said then looked at the time on my wristwatch. It is 09:34 in the morning.

I am only scheduled to see her at 10:00.

"You're early," I pointed it out to her.

"It's one of our characteristics. We like being first." She said and then reached out her hand for a shake.

I shook her hand while processing her reply.

Aries seems to have a winning complex here. I don't know if I can do that since I don't really feel anything if I win or lose. It's about enjoying the game, right?

But I don't enjoy it, either...

"My name is Akari Manabu, but you probably know that, right?"

"Yeah, I do." I said. "So, what are we supposed to do now?"

"Straight to the point, I see." She muttered to herself but it caught my ear. Another thing I realized is that her eyes were analysing me. She may be good at hiding it to most people but unfortunately for her my confidence lies in the fact that I like to observe things, people included.

"That's right!" Remembering what we need to do she grabbed me by my arm and started tugging me along. I put up little to no resistance and began walking along as she lead me through the corridors in rushed manner.

"Come on, let's go now!" She yelled in a cheery voice and started running faster. I didn't want to fall and began running faster so that I could keep up with her, her hair brushing against my face the entire time we ran.

"Do you even know what we are suppose to be doing?!" I yell after her.

"Now where's the fun in that?!" She said and gave a boisterous laugh as we made our way through the empty corridors of the school.

I wonder what she is expecting of me.

I learnt two things as I ran with Akari through the corridors then out into open fields then to corridors again that might help me at a later stage with the other Zodiac representatives.

The first one is that the school was EXTREMELY large. It is so large that I wondered if the government can actually afford this place and still make the school fees close to nothing for a year. It is just that extravagant of a place.

The school, Zodiac High, is divided up in districts called "Constellations". Each Constellation consists of a three storey building for teaching academics and a hostel for boys and girls. It ranges from Aries all the way to Pisces.
