"My mind is a wandering paradise." - Pisces

~~~~~~~~~~
I think it's extremely difficult for people to verbally express what exactly they are thinking. To put something as abstract as the birth of ideas into the limited vocabulary that we all posses. It's always something that you're suppose to conciously think about.
I always contemplate the birth of ideas. It's kind of like the existence of babies. Toddlers are always asking, "where do babies come from?" Or "how did babies get here". The first thing a parent always does is tell a lie. They come with strange stories of flying birds and other tales that could most likely be a book on its own. Let's call it "Where babies come from: Tales from mothers around the world Volume 1".
But their not the only ones telling tales.
I don't think science gives the full explanation either. Sure, sexual intercourse or "coitus" as a nicer way of putting it, is the process where... u-uhm, Y'know... and from there the embryo grows into a foetus inside the mother's womb. After 9 months the baby is born.
That still does not explain where exactly "life itself" comes from. All we know is, if you combine this with this, you get that. We will probably never know all the details about it, but I don't think we should either. Just my personal opinion, I guess...
What was I talking about again?
Oh yeah, the birth of ideas.
Like I said, as we will never know the exact details of where babies come from, we will never know the origin or "birth" of ideas either.
Napoleon Hill wrote about the Infinite Intelligence that could be tapped into if we give our minds the chance to focus and think, but that's a really simple way of putting it, isn't it? Plus, don't we sometimes get some of our best ideas when we're doing something unexpected? And, what about a case when people get the same ideas without having prior reference about it? That has also happened hasn't it?
So, how does it work?
The way I see it, or as I imagine what Napoleon Hill was talking about, I imagine a large "pond". Wait, listen. Don't leave yet, please.
Think of an an extremely large "pond". The water was in an area so large that if you tried to cross it, it would give off the same feeling as crossing an ocean. The water was clearer than crystal and most likely tasted a hundred times better than the fountain of youth (or something like that, it was never really said that the fountain of youth tasted amazing did it? So just imagine it...).
Now, imagine that every sip you take from this pond gives you an idea. An original idea to be specific. To make it even that more amazing, imagine that there was more than one "pond", and that you are able to access any one of them if you wanted to. That was what I think this Infinite Intelligence was like.
Now I what you're thinking. Thirteen, if something so amazing really exists (and to expand on it, there is even more than one...) then why can't we use it? Has your thought process chosen the route of escapism and you're living in a fantasy world? What are you, schizophrenic?
W-whoever's thinking of that second half has a sharp tongue, huh? I'm s-sorry...
But fortunately for you, I do have an explanation for that.
These ponds can be accessible to people but there are certain requirements necessary that need to be fulfilled. One of them being the situation. If you are looking for an idea to get out of washing dishes you won't suddenly discover the cure for cancer, would you? This means you need to know the problem in order for a solution to be had. That also explains why it's possible for more than one person to get the same idea, right? Damn, Napoleon, you're a genius!
