"Abi get down here now! We are going to be late!" I heard my mom call me from downstairs. I was still getting ready for my job interview at RCA Records and I couldn't be late. I grabbed my bag, drank some toothpaste and headed out the door.

"Finally! You took forever." My mom said backing out of the driveway. Now you may be thinking, why the hell is this girl who is obviously 24 having her mom drive her? Well long story short, my house burned down, and I needed to sell my car to get clothes and other things. So really my only option was to live with my mom. Although it wasn't terrible. It really has brought my mom and I closer, and I'm really enjoying her company. We finally pulled up to RCA and I said goodbye to my mom and left. I pushed on the large revolving doors and went up to the front desk.

"Do you have an appointment?" The lady asked looking up from her computer.

"Uh well I'm here for a job interview..." I said quickly.

"Name?"

"Abigail Edwards."

"Ah right this way." She directed me down a million halls, that finally lead to a door that said "Studio A." She knocked on the door and went in.

"Hey Amanda!" A guy called and gave the lady a hug.

"Hey Dave! This is Abigail Edwards, she is here for a job interview." She said loudly.

"Oh oh. Welcome!" He said studying me from head to toe. Suddenly I found the floor to be the most interesting thing in the world.

"Well, what can you do? Like anything?"

"Um I play piano...and I can file stuff if you need and well..uh..anything really..."

"Good! You got yourself the job!" He said.

"Really? That fast?" I asked stunned.

"That fast." He said, "You Start tomorrow." He turned away and I went out the door. I still can't believe he gave me the job like that. For all he knows I could be a murderer. Oh well who cares. He won't be sorry he hired me. I ran my fingers through my brown curly hair, and looked towards the floor. That only lasted for a seconded before I had ran in to some thing. Or should I say someone. We both fell to the ground and put our hands on our heads that just collided.

"Owwww." He complained.

"Oh. Oh my, I'm so so sorry!" I stuttered.

"No it's my fault I should have been watching where I was going." He said still staring at me. My eyes drifted along his sea of tattoos. They were beautiful. He was so handsome, and his brown hair and brown eyes made him perfect.

"You work here?" He asked.

"Uh yeah, just got a job actually." I said quickly.

"Oh then I guess I'll be seeing you around..." He said leaving a pause for my name.

"Oh Abi." I said.

"Ryan. Nice to meet you and welcome to RCA!" He welcomed me.

"Thank you!" I said awkwardly as he left me. I went outside and waited for my mom to pick me up occasionally checking my shoulder to make sure Ryan didn't know my mom was picking me up. I mean I know he will probably never like me and my chances are slim but if he sees my mom picking me up, he will never even be my friend. I checked the time and it was 3:45pm. God where is she? She said 3:30pm. I waited and waited, but I realized she probably forgotten. I felt my pocket for my phone and it wasn't there. Crap, I left it at home! Ugh. I started to walk. It wasn't that far anyway, just a few miles. No big deal.
