I miss him

It was a Saturday afternoon and I was home alone, I was really bored so I got my vlogging camera and started to record a YouTube video
"Hey guys what's up hope you all have the best day. But anyways today's video is going to be a QnA since it has been the most requested video EVER" I said while gasping for a breath and laughing
I grabbed my phone and went to the first question and started to read it out
"Have you got a boy-"
I stopped mid sentence realising a video of me pop up in my phone I giggle nervously and said "technical difficulties"
I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the video. It was a video of me and my dad from 5 years ago. I immediately burst into tears and threw the phone at my mirror, completely shattering it. My mom ran in and asked me what's wrong, I gave her my phone, she could hardly see through the smashed screen but tears formed in her eyes,
"Oh honey it's okay darling I miss him too"
It had been 5 years since my dad had passed and I still missed him more than ever.
"Hello hello hello, kiddos where are you"
My stepdad Neil Walked in and asked what the matter was, he saw the video and gave me a hug, he looked at the screen, my mirror and then the glass in the floor
"Looks like someone needs a new phone"
He said chuckling, he's always been a nice man he was my only father Figure that I had left
Neil:"Go get ready we're going on a shopping spree"
Mom:"it's up to you honey we don't have to go"
Y/n:"no mom it'll be good I have to get over it some day and I'll always miss him but so will you"
My mom and Neil bought me into a massive family hug.

I got ready and re-did my makeup (personally thought I looked great) my makeup was like this:
