That day had be somewhat tireing for Izuku, he worried alot about Bakugou, and worrying makes him tired. The boy layed down, closed his eyes, and thought about Katsuki. He couldn't help it, what if something happened to him? Deku knew it was unlikely, Kacchan was an aspiring hero just like him. Katsuki could surely take care of himself.

And with that thought in mind, Izuku Midoriya drifted off to sleep.

"Katsuki Bakugou! Wake up right now!" Mitsuki Bakugou yelled, banging on Katsuki Bakugous door. Katsuki slowly sat up, yawning and rubbing his eyes.

"I'm up mom," he said stretching, "I'll-- be down in a minute."

She suddenly got really quiet, seemingly forgetting this delema they are in. "Just...just hurry, you need breakfast before school."

Katsuki could hear her walk down the hall, and he got up. He put on his glasses and did all his morning hygiene, like taking a shower and brushing his teeth. Kacchan had a hard time combing his hair though, seeing as he had a serious case of bed head.

The hero in training was finally ready, he looked into the mirror and made a determined face before heading downstairs. It was about 10 minutes until he had to go, but he figured that was enough time to grab a cereal bar, check his backpack again, and leave.

When he got downstairs, Masaru was drinking some coffee and reading a book. Mitsuki was leaning on the counter, drinking some tea happily, she likes her tea.

"Ohayougozaimasu," Katsuki said to them, getting a cereal bar out of the cabinet. He checked the label and frowned, processed near peanuts. Katsuki put it back and grabbed another brand, this one being absolutely peanut free. He smiled and shoved it in his pocket.

"Ohayou Katsuki," Masaru said, noticing Kacchans movements, "See you remembered to check for peanuts, I don't know why we have anything with it anyway, but we'll be sure to go through everything okay?"

"Okay, I have to go, ittekimasu!" Katsuki said, saying goodbyes and waving. He set off to the train station, exited for the day, but nervous as well. (Wait do they even need to go on a train-)

On his way to the subway station, he saw a certain green haired boy leave his house. After Midoriya closed the door, he turned around and saw Katsuki. Immediately Bakugou began to run, hoping to loose him. But Deku ran after him, and he decided he would deal with Izuku's questions. He slowed down a bit until

"Kacchan! Where did you go yesterday! Did something bad happen??" Deku asked, worried something bad happened, he knew he would get yelled at for worrying, but he couldn't help it. "What happened with your eyes?? I knew I should have looked longer-"

"I-I got hit by a quirk, But don't worry though! It didn't hurt me or anything!" Bakugou said, waving his hands around. Midoriya stared at him, eyes wide. Was this even the same person?

"W-what kind of quirk was it??" Deku said, confused as to what kind of quirk could affect his childhood friend THAT much!

"Ah- well uh... It, made me take after my dad more? In small ways? I need glasses, allergic to peanut butter, my personality...." He mumbled, Izuku stared, fascinated by this 'new bakugou', "We went to a quirk specialist, and she said the quirks affect is going to last for a m-month..."

"H-How long have you been like this?" Midoriya questioned, he hoped it wasn't the day he lost Katsuki, if so it was his fault.

"U-Um.....since friday..?" he said nervously. I hope Izuk-Deku didn't think it was his fault-It is. Bakugou flicked his own forehead, and made a look of satisfaction when the voice went away.

Midoriya looked at him in concern, "Are you okay?? This is my fault... I bet thats because of the quirk...what can I do to make it up to you?"

"Y-you don't have to do anything! This was my fault, I'm the one who was a jerk, I shouldn't have ran away from you while you were asking a question."

"Woah, that quirk really affected you, this is the nicest apology I've ever gotten from you," Deku said, "oh! We're here, come on the trains leaving soon!"

It is isn't it? Bakugou thought as they waited in line to get onto the already packed train. I've been a horrible person.. I told him to kill himself and I never told him I was sorry! And for every other interaction we had! H-he was looking down on me! Thats not  a real reason- Katsuki was knocked out of his conversation when he felt warmth on his hand. He quickly looked down to see who had grabbed it- and it was Izuku! Deku was pulling him onto the train, it seemed that while he was fighting with himself the line had shortened.

He quickly put his phone on silent and shoved it in his pants pocket, and walked into the train. Him and Izuku held onto the handholds since all the seats were taken, and the train began to move.

The walls were covered with morning light as it shone through the windows. Silhouettes of people in the boxes of the warm suns glow. Katsuki found himself staring at a particular shadow, the shadow of him and Izuku, still connected. It seemed Midoriya had forgotten to let go of his hand.

"Um.., Iz- Deku, you're still holding my hand.." He said quietly, sure as to not capture the attention of anyone. Izuku looked over at him in question, looked down at his hand, and his face lit up. He quickly let go, muttered an apology, and stood there looking flustered.

Katsuki looked down at the floor, a unfamiliar sensation  forming on the bridge of his nose and ears. The boy reached up to feel that his cheeks were very warm. He was blushing, a thing he has rarely done since he was little.

Bakugou quickly looked the other direction, hoping that Izuku didn't see the red sprinkled on his cheeks. And they both stood there awkwardly until they got to their stop.

They got off the train, and walked together to the front doors for the first time.

"So.... whats been happening in the last couple years besides the thing with your quirk..?" Katsuki asked, hoping to cut through the awkward atmosphere he had created.

"Well, not much. These past couple years has just been me hoping to become a hero, and then training to become one. How about you?" Izuku responded.

"I've just been getting crankier, until friday, to answer your questions I was in perfect health. I was trying to be less of a jerk, so I decided the only way to do that was to not talk at all." Katsuki responded, apparently telling the truth was easier when you weren't so worried about if everyone would think you were weak.

"Oh, so you were trying, I really thought you just hated me- and everyone else of course!" Midoriya responded, his voice slightly cracking.

"I-I don't hate you!" the blond yelled, stopping in his tracks. People started looking at them, he blushed and said it again, quieter this time "I don't hate you.." He looked down at the ground, and heard, crying..?

"I really thought you hated me! And I really wanted to know why, we were best friends when we were little, and I got a quirk so I thought we could be friends again! But you just got even more mad at me-" He quieted down when Katsuki grabbed his hand.

"I'm sorry you thought I hated you, but I really don't, so stop crying!" Katsuki said, leading Deku into the school, "We'll be friends again! I promise!"
