Chapter 1

In the kingdom of Kohan, there live five beautiful princesses. Solar the oldest sister, Moonbyul the second, Wheein the third, Hwasa the fourth and Y/N the youngest. They are called the pearls of the east because of their natural beauty and genuine personalities.

The five have ruled the kingdom for three years ever since their parents died. Despite their young age and inexperience, they have managed to keep the kingdom in peace and good trade with other provinces. They loved living with one another and ruling side by side and wished for it to stay that way forever, however, their wish will not come true.....

The girls were in the royal library studying languages, cultures and enjoying each other's company when the royal messenger hurriedly walks in the room delivering a letter on a rose golden platter to the five princesses. Moonbyul stands up and takes the letter and bows indicating the messenger may leave before sitting back down.

''What is it unnie?" Hwasa asks as she the two girls lean in close to see as well.

''A letter,'' She says beginning to open it.

'' Who sent us a letter? Is it another ball invitation?" Hwasa asked

'' Maybe another letter from Eric??" y/n teased Solar while Wheein and Hwasa began laughing at her reddened flustered face.

Moonbyul began reading the letter and her eyes grew wide. She hastily puts the letter on the table with a shocked expression lingering on her face.

''Unnie?" Wheein puts a hand on her shoulder

''Moonbyul? What's wrong?'' Hwasa asked

Moonbyul quickly snaps out of her state of shock and regains her composure. She cant find the right words, thinking she may cause her sisters to either panic or not take it seriously enough. So instead she hands the letter to Solar.

Solar takes the letter opening it before reading it aloud.

'' To the five princesses of Kohan, we are requesting a meeting with you to discuss some matters of upmost importance that have come to our attention. We will be leaving the following morning this letter reaches you and will arrive in the Kohan province in five days time due to some other matters we must take care of beforehand. We kindly ask that you prepare accordingly and make our first visit to your kingdom a pleasant and memorable one. We are anticipating the moment we will meet The Pearls of the East. Sincerely The Seven Princes of Seoul.''

Solar felt as if the wind was knocked out of her. Worry pools in her mind wondering what they could possibly want.

''What kind of matters are they talking about unnie?" Y/n asked as Hwasa grabbed her hand.

''Did we do anything to anger them? What could we have done?" Wheein and Y/n looked up at the two older sisters for an answer

''We couldn't have done anything to upset them, they could be visiting us for many other reasons than a declaration of war.'' Solar said trying to calm her sisters

''What kind of other things could they want?'' Hwasa squeezed Y/n's hand

''They've probably heard about our plentiful supply of silk, gems and other natural resources and want to begin trading with us'' Y/n tried to convince herself they wanted something other than to take over her beloved kingdom

''Either way, we need to not panic and prepare for their visit.'' Moonbyul, Solar and the rest of the girls got(7) up from their seats and walked into the meeting room calling all of their servants, generals, and nobles to discuss what to do to prepare for welcoming the seven most feared princes into their home.
