Playing it cool

A few days had past since the extra curricular tryouts and group meets were held. Grace and Felicia were off to lab 1 for science. Except when they got there, there was a note sticky taped to the door from their science teacher, it said . "Good morning students, from now on this class will be no more. There has been a slight dilemma.Therefore this class will be separated into two classes mixed with another. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience kids. Please find your name on one of the two lists and go to your assigned lab immediately. Thank you. Kind regards- Mr Clarke." As it turned out Grace and Felicia were separated. Although it also turned out that Willy was still in Felicia's class and that Alex was in Graces.

A while after the classes were sorted and the double period of science started Felicia felt lonely. She only ever hung with Grace she didn't really know anyone else, unless of course she wanted to try making friends with Tiffany who had been transferred into her new class. And that Felicia refused to do, so she just ended up sitting by herself not bothered about anything else. Except she couldn't really help but look at Willy who she only sort of knew and desperately wanted to sit with. Felicia always had mixed feelings about him. She had only ever held a small conversation with him but she felt like he was a good enough to be an aquatints. Although she was also still annoyed and embarrassed about the spit wad incident. As Felicia was sitting by herself a few minutes in she heard a whispery voice behind her that sounded familiar. " Hey their. Mind" it was Willy plonking himself down next to Felicia. "Oh hey" Felicia whispered back. " Wait what are you doing?" She asked demandingly. "Sorry didn't mean to intrude" Willy answered. "Ok a few things, first I am so sorry for the spit wad incident it's just"."Don't apologise I don't need your whole life story on how your sorry for a pathetic attempt of trying to be cool." Felicia said in a smart tone. "Whoa" Willy laughed impressed. "But why are you really sitting here?" Felicia asked curiously. "Well I don't really admit this very often. But you know Tommy over there. Holy cow BO alert the guy seriously stinks so bad like I mean he's a mate in track team and all but man you can't take even one whiff without wanting to spray deodorant around the whole room, it smells that bad. The worst thing is I can remember the exact smell." 'Oh my god' Felicia screamed in her head. 'Thats why he wants to sit here!' "Oh" Felicia replied. 'Wait' Felicia thought 'That's sounds like I feel sad he doesn't want to sit with just me. I have to play it cool, he's a guy!'"Ew"! She screamed just a little to loud. Everyone stared at her even her new science teacher Ms Jewel. "Everything alright over there?" She asked. Felicia went bright red in the face. She always embarrassed herself in front of Willy. "Yes everything is just fine" Felicia yelped in a pathetic tone. Willy spoke again privately to Felicia "You really have an easy way of grabbing people's attention don't you, when you're trying to play it cool."
