Day with Mom

Third Person POV

Brick was in the Utonium's kitchen looking at some papers.

Soon the door bell was heard.

He looked at the door and walked towards it, looking through the peep hole.

It was his mom.

Confused he opened to the door to get hugged by his mother.

"Hey mom?!" He said with a shocked expression. She quickly pulled away and smiled.

"Aww, my baby! I missed you so much!" She said walking in the house sitting on the couch. Brick closed the door and sat by her.

"What are you doing here?"

Brick hasn't seen his mom since the day he moved out. It's only been calls that kept them together.

"I haven't seen you since the move. How have you been?" She smiled

She has missed her son but she knows that her husband is a very stubborn man.

"I've been fine." Brick said

She smiled and looked around the house. "I forgot how beautiful the Utonium's house is."

Brick chuckled and nodded.

"How are you and Blossom?" She asked staring at a picture of the girls and their dad.

"We are actual great. Sure it's hard taking care of a pregnant lady but it's still amazing."

"How about you mom?" He said changing the subject.

She looked at Brick, "oh I'm doing fine and so are your brothers, but they miss you."

She smiled looking at Brick, she frowned remembering a few things that happened earlier. "it's also hard being in a house with out you."

Brick looked at her with guilt in his eyes, "mom i'm sorry." she cut him off before he could finish. "don't say anything, this incident has made a man out of you." she smiled.

He smiled and got up. "you wanna make lunch just like old times?"

She nodded and followed him into the kitchen.

Brick walked to the counter and his mother went to the fridge.

"You wanna make some sub sandwiches?" Brick walked to the pantry and checked if they had bread.

"Yeah sure." He said and grabbed the bread, going back to the counter. If mom already took everything they needed and placed it down.

"Gosh, I missed this." she said cutting off some lettuce. "Do? you think Blossom will be here soon so we can make her a sandwich?" Brick thought about it. "she should be here soon, so yeah just in case."

She nodded and kept cutting the lettuce.

They heard the door open, "hey Brick I'm home!" Blossom's voice was heard. "hi, Blossom." Brick's mother responded. Blossom smiled and walked to the kitchen.

"Hi Judy, I mean Mrs.Jojo. I'm sorry." Blossom blushed looking at the ground. Judy chuckled. "you can call me whatever you like."

She then looked down to see Blossom pregnancy belly, "wow aren't you getting big?!"

Blossom blushed some more and nodded, "yep and I smell food! What are you guys making." she said changing the subject.

"sandwiches." Blossom smiled and grabbed a piece of bread and ate it. "make sure to make me one." she kissed Brick and headed to her room.

"I'm going to say this again, your lucky, don't lose that one okay?" Judy said cutting the tomatoes now.

Brick nodded and went back to looking at the bread.

"I don't ever want to lose her."
