Love of a Ghost

Chapter 1: Harmony and saving Luigi

Harmony POV
I always wanted to know what happened to someone once they die, but I never wanted this to happen to me. I was dead for 51 years and I was doomed to roam the empty, dark hallways of the hotel. Every ghost that are doom to be hotel staff are force to work even after death just like me. I stop in my track to a fellow head maid ghost with a purple aura stood in my way.
"Hello Ms. Chambrea I got done with room 305." I said with a monotone in my voice.
Ms. Chambrea didn't look so happy. "I told you to clean 301!"
I shook my head "You only told me to..."
"Well I change my mind! Now go!" She yelled then flew away.
I sigh looking down to the ground. Sometimes I just want to be human again or be able to talk to a human that didn't scream in terror, run, or end up like the rest of us. Staring at my grey 'white aura' hand 'Don't give up Harmony.' I thought to myself.
Out of the corner of my eye I see the dark, rotten carpet turn to the carpet that it once was bright red with golden trims. I shot my head up and notice the whole hallway is turning from dark and dusty to bright, clean, shiny and almost welcoming look. The other ghosts turn invisible or put on human masks. It took me a minute to realize that we are having guests. I flew down through the floors, I kept going till I hit the Lobby. What I see is amazing; present and food that can make anyone tempted. Yet that not what made it amazing, it was an actual human male with a brown mustache and blue eyes that is dress in a green shirt, blue overalls, brown shoes, a green cap with a "L" on it. He seems to be talking to the other male but I didn't care. All I care was that green dress male who capture my full attention. I turn invisible, flew to the male and follow him as he chats to the people he came with. Some where 3 Toads, a blonde head female, and... A GHOST DOG!
Luigi POV
Polterpup can't stop barking at whatever is behind me. I try to calm him down but he kept jumping around the spot that I guess he trying to say 'right here'. I shook my head thinking he just excited, walk to the front desk and check in. But I feel like the bellhop isn't really one. I turn to see the hotel owner name Hellen Gravely. Her purple skin isn't helping with my uneasy feeling, but I shook it away and follow her with my brother and the princess to the elevator. After saying night to both of them I head to my room 503.
Once I was inside the big golden room I started to feel sleepy. Polterpup still barking at nothing.
"Calm down puppy." I said putting my hand on the soft clean bed.
"Come here let get some sleep."
When he hops on the bed, I pulled my favorite book out, open it and fell asleep.
(later that night)
Harmony POV
I don't know how to feel. Scare to wake him to see that his room wasn't all golden and bright but dark and scary like it was before they came here. Or happy that he in the room that work my ghost butt off cleaning and dusting. Floating towards his sleeping body laying nicely on the bed I fixed up, reach my right hand out to his side, started shaking him lightly. Then a female scream broke the silent and woke him up. He looks around to see the room looking different, but his head turn towards me and when I see his eyes staring into my white bright eyes, I felt my non-existing heart beating out of my chest. One problem I am not invisible and judging his face he ready to scream. I panic and cover his mouth.
"Please don't scream! I won't hurt you or try to kidnap you! I never talk or meet a human before without them screaming." I explain to the green cap man.
"I will uncover your mouth but you promise me to not scream." I spoke softly.
He nods his head, I pull my hands away and float in front of him.
Luigi POV
I stared in shock that in front of me is a female ghost with light brown hair that goes to her hips, grey skin that has white aura around her, white eyes that are shining, and a black French maid outfit. She looks like she doesn't mean any harm, but I am a ghost hunter that suck up ghost with the Poltergust G. Yet the way she is staring at me with a nice, friendly and comforting smile makes me less scared.
She gasps. "Oh! You are in danger this hotel isn't what you think! This place has ghosts and your friends are endangered!"
Now it's time to panic. I grab the flashlight from the night stand, got out of bed and ran out of the room to the hallway.
What I see proves that the female ghost is right. The hallway is changing from the golden, clean hallway to dark, dusty and just a messy hallway. I gulp and slowly walk down to my brother room. Before I could open it, the female ghost came out of it and scared me. I scream but I cover my mouth.
She frowns "Sorry. Anyway, I check in both rooms. Your friends aren't there."
I started to panic "N-n-no it can't be. My brother, the princess, Toads...what going on?"
She was about to speak, but we heard the elevator ding from down the hall. She floats behind me, I point my flashlight to the sound was and walk towards it. I don't know where this boost of bravery came from? My guess is that I want to show this nice ghost that I am not afraid. Sadly, I prove myself wrong when at the elevator that ghost Hellen Gravely came out, explain why me, Mario and my friends are here, then she shows us King Boo which I scream loud. He laughs at how dumb we are, show me my brother, princess Peach, and the three Toads all trap in the picture frames, and tell me he going to do the same thing pulling out a picture frame that turn into a portal.
I didn't know what to do, but I feel a cold small hand grab mine and pulled me back down the hall. Seeing that King Boo is chasing me and that this maid ghost is leading me faster down the hall to a metal laundry shoot. We look back to see them smiling at the fact we are trap.
Hellen growl "Harmony! You idiot! Get away from our bait! You are in so much trouble!"
Harmony? I turn to the ghost that still holding my hand. She looks at me then back Hellen. With one hand she opens the shoots door and yelled.
"SCREW YOU! SCREW THIS HOTEL! SCREW THE STAFF! AND SCREW YOU KING BOO!"
With that she pulls me and her in the shoot and we fall together.
