Chapter 3 Harmony's Past and Maid Boss

No one POV
Luigi and Harmony are listening to E.Gadd explain on how he got here. Luigi already know thanks to Harmony but for the old man sake he let him. E.Gadd tells Luigi that the Poltergust G-00 has a very special addition that will help him with his ghost hunting. He explained that it in his room on the floor 5, yet the elevator seems to be missing some elevator buttons.
"And won't you know it? I happened to pick up 2 elevator buttons that were drop by that ghost bellhop." He said looking through his pockets.
He pulled out 2 golden buttons with 1 and 5 on them. Luigi took them, put them in his pockets and turn his attention to Harmony.
"E.Gadd what else does that Poltergust do?" She said out of curiosity.
He smile. "I'm glad you ask. Well there a button on it that lets you shoot a plunger that attached to a rope to grab on or slammed objects that are in the way to progress. Kinda like an handle but you put it in yourself and you use it for slamming purpose."
Harmony is fascinated and look at Luigi "Let's go!"
Luigi try to say no but she flew out of the lab leaving Luigi and E.Gadd alone.
"E.Gadd is there any chance to give a ghost life?" Luigi said.
E.Gadd shrugs "I don't know my boy. But if you want I can make an invention that will make one ghost become human again just let me work on it."
Luigi smile and walk out of the lab leaving E.Gadd to work.
(Time skip to the elevator)
Luigi POV
I hooked up E.Gadd's red device to the elevator and it not only help give power to the elevator but it a way to see what the floor lay out is. With E.Gadd VB (Virgule Boy) to communicate to him and this, there nothing that will surprise him. I pulled the buttons from my pocket, they flew out of my hands and screw themself in place.
Harmony smile "Don't worry it happens."
I sigh and push the button for 5. It was the most awkward elevator silence I ever been in. I mean we are just "standing" there waiting for our floor. Just my luck we made it to the floor, looking around the dark empty hallway with Harmony by my side.
"E.Gadd room is 508 just up ahead to the right." She said pointed forward.
I nod and make my way there.
(After many ghost and collecting money)
Harmony POV
We made it to the place where the room should've been. It must have turn invisible with those little ball ghost lucky me that Luigi here. He use the black light, suck those pest up and the door appears. We enter and... Really out of every ghost it her! The head maid Chambrea is there cleaning and noticed the briefcase that we needed. Luigi accidentally reveals himself and she turned to see us.
"HARMONY! Oh I see you join force with that human for revenge." She spoke with so much sass that it makes me sick.
I growl "Give us that briefcase or so help I will hurt you."
She laughed and swallowed it, fly to the next room to the left.
I was so mad, Luigi must have noticed since he in front of me trying to calm me down. I took a calming breath before turning away crying.
Luigi walk to the messy bed "I know we have a mission to do but do you want to talk?"
I nod and float to him, laying my ghost head on his lap. "I am sorry... it just I hate her so much."
Luigi didn't say anything just put his glove hand on my head like he was try to pet it. I smile at this but I need to tell him everything.
"Luigi I was a human 51 years ago. I was just 26 (same age as Luigi. Yes I look it up don't hate!) when I was killed. Yes killed, you see I was a maid working at this hotel well before it was transformed into this big and complex place of horror. It wasn't a bad job yet there are some times where drug dealers, gangsters, potheads and the late night drunks come in and out. I didn't have a problem with that seeing as I was well liked by everyone but that Chambrea will try to make my life hell. One night I was cleaning the hallway off the dining hall when one of the most fear gangster came up to me with Chambrea right behind. I was confused so I ask him what wrong. Just like that I was shot in the stomach, everyone including the people who like me ran out. I remember what he said 'that for stealing you s**t.' Apparently Chambrea frame me for stealing by taking his money from his suitcase and blamed me. Everyone was mad and killed her but the guy was behind bars."
I look up to see if he was listening. Of course what I see was a mix between mad, hurt, sorry, and... I don't know what else it just a lot that is being show. I sat up, turn to him and hug him. Yes I know my body is like a freezer but we both need a hug.
"Luigi you are the only person I ever talk about my past. I don't know why but talking to you and being around you makes me feel more alive."
He wrap his arms around my small ghost waist "I am so sorry that happened to you."
I felt him pulled away, get off the bed, walk to the door and look back at me "I will catch that maid and get revenge for your death."
As he walk out to head the next room I felt my unbeat heart pounding and my cheek going a darker grey color (she blushing since her ghost skin is light grey). I flew to the next room to watch what going to happen.
Luigi POV
I am so angry that this Chambrea is the cause of Harmony death. That maid is going to regret messing with someone I starting to fall for. I opened the door and see her, I flashed her with my light, used the plunger to the briefcase, I suck the rope and slammed that ghost b**** to the ground. Her health didn't seem to go lower and she about to escape. If it wasn't for Harmony punching her in the face, pushing her back to me to try again and it repeat until I finally captured her, the briefcase is safely in Harmony arms, and the next elevator button for the 3 floor. I pick it up, put it in my pocket and hear Harmony put the briefcase down.
"Harmony is something?" I was about to ask when she floated in front of me and pulled me into a very cold yet very nice kiss.
I was shock and didn't know how to react but my heart took control. Closing my eyes, wrap my arms around her waist and kiss back. Feeling her smile in the kiss made my heart very happy but I need air so I pulled away. Take deep breath while staring at her.
She smile "Luigi I never had anyone do that for me. I am super happy when you got rid of the one who made my life and ghost life a living hell. I knew that you would be the one that can make any girl super happy."
I am blushing "Harmony I do anything to help others. I don't like seeing you sad and I.... starting to like you. But I'm with Daisy... let go back to the lab I need to do something quickly."
(Skip to lab)
No one POV
After E.Gadd put the new invention Gooigi in the Poltergust. They head out of the lab to test it... by making Luigi get trap in a cage, with Harmony watching. E.Gadd explain to Harmony that she shouldn't help Luigi during the whole adventure but when fighting ghost she is allowed to due to her lowering their health. Luigi used Gooigi to help him escape, yet to Harmony it like Luigi is not in control of his own body because he looks like he in a daze... or one of those drunks she knows long ago. After all that Luigi walk to E.Gadd and talk in private.
"E.Gadd can you hack into a cellphone tower? I need to talk to someone."
E.Gadd nod typing away on his computer. "And... there now go ahead but you only have 3 minutes due to distance we are it will cut off by then."
Luigi nod and called Daisy while E.Gadd talk to Harmony.
"You don't mind me asking but after you were killed did you feel different?"
She look shock. But he continued "The VB was on when I called Luigi it must have answered... they called it butt dial."
She answered his question when they hear "LUIGI YOU BETTER BE JOKING! YOUR BREAKING UP WITH ME!"
Let just say Luigi is happy being out of a relationship he wasn't sure he was happy in. Harmony is happy to see Luigi smiling that amazing smile and the two head back to the elevator ready for the next room.
