Love of a Ghost

Harmony Back story

Harmony was born on December 16th, 1942. Her birth parents were so happy to have there first child together, but was cut short after a car hit them. Harmony's last family members were her mothers parents who didn't really appreciate their daughter running away with a boy they didn't approve of and her father parents who are the most kindest people you ever met. After a lot of fighting the father parents got custody of Harmony. They took care of her and give her lots of love.
At the age of 3, Harmony was such a good yet quiet child. The kids she sees playing on the street in the city made her want to make friends. Yet that didn't happen because one night. Someone broke the window that was in her room. That not only sent fear in Harmony but her grandparents. Her grandpa is an detective and has lots of enemies. He didn't want his granddaughter feeling like someone is after her so he did an investigation. It didn't take long to find out who it is and put them behind bars. Yet it opened up both of the couple eyes and they agreed. They moved out of the city and move the a nice open land where Harmony would be safe.

At the age of 7 years old, Harmony spends most of her time reading in her grandpa's studies, sing, dance, and cooking. She doesn't need to go to school due to her grandma being an retired teacher. Her studying is the only thing she really enjoys doing but what she really loves to do the most... cleaning. It seems to calm her down and put her mind at peace. Even though she hasn't been able to meet people, her grandmother taught her how to act and behave if she ever in a social situation.

Harmony life was peaceful up until she turned 16 when her grandparents succumbed to old age. They left behind lot of money for her and the house. Yet she doesn't want to be taken in by her other grandparents so she decided to get a job to help support for herself. Harmony look for jobs that seem to fit her ability and after so many job ads... She found the job. She went to the hotel [that was smaller yet not really scary then the hotel she in now haunting] to be hire as a front desk staff. Yet an very angry maid walk to the front door, shove her uniform into Harmony and yelled at the manger "I QUIT!" Stomping out. Harmony being confused notice the front desk and the lobby is a mess. Before the manger or anybody else knew it Harmony put on the apron and started cleaning the lobby in super speed. The manger was shock seeing after 4 minutes of Harmony super speed clean, the lobby looks spotless. He hired her and Harmony was super happy.

It didn't take long for Harmony to get used to the place. The customer who spent the night are either drunk, high, drug dealers, gangsters or *cough**cough* sex works *cough**cough*. Yet that didn't stop Harmony from being kind to them. Everyone who stays there remember the nice maid who leaves drunk people pain medicine and water for them when they sober up, clean room for the gangsters but helps them organize their paperwork and tell them ideas to help with profits [Not in a bad way like lower cost and giving people notice on when payments are due just to give them time], listen to high people that talk to her and give them a shoulder to cry on, drug dealers see her as the girl who super smart and let her help them count money with them of course they give her some as a thank you, and all and all an amazing person they all love. Harmony didn't know that people love her until the usual drunk came in but sober... he told everyone he getting back on his feet and wanted to thank Harmony for helping him realize that drinking doesn't solve anything. The manger couldn't help but to announce that she is promoted to head maid. The attendance and staff all cheered for Harmony.... All except Chambrea. She hates how Harmony is stealing the spot she wanted sense she works there. She is now wants Harmony out of the picture.

One faithful day, the hotel was greeted by the most feared gangsters of all of the Mushroom Kingdom. He is staying there for one night which made Chambrea concocted an evil plan of getting rid of Harmony. When the gangsters stepped out of his room she sneaked in and stole money from the black suitcase. She left the room, "pretend" to clean the hallway table, and watch as the gangsters going back into his room to only find the suitcase open and empty. He ran out pissed and she smiles "I told her that room shouldn't be clean."
He look at her "WHO. WENT. IN. MY. ROOM."
She help lead him to Harmony detraction which is the dining room.
Harmony was dusting the lights and heard footsteps behind her. She turned around to see the gangsters man and Chambrea. Before she could ask him anything.
"BANG!"
A gun shot rang through the now dead silence room. Harmony felt pain in her stomach, red blood seeping through her uniform. The gangsters spoke "That is for stealing you slut!" Harmony fall to the ground. However the people who witnessed this are now pissed. The 5 other gangsters in the room who know Harmony got up and chase after the man while 10 people chased after Chambrea due to them guessing she the reason why Harmony was shot. They follow her to the lobby where she trip over a suitcase, that gave the people a perfect opportunity to beat Chambrea to death.

In the dining room, the remanded people try to stop Harmony wound but to no used. Harmony spoke to the one person who is holding her stomach wound.
"What time is it?"
The guy look at the clock "12:01 A.M. why?"
She smiles "Today I turned 26 years old... thank you all for being the best attendance I ever look after..." and with that Harmony took her final breath. Her death was on her 26th birthday 1968.

The hotel hold an funeral for Harmony but not for Chambrea. Everyone that knows Harmony and came into contact with her came to mourn or pay their respects. The feared gangsters who killed her is behind bars but is seriously wounded. Everyone hope that Harmony is in a better place but she didn't move on. She is forever stuck behind as a ghost. Her green eyes turned white, pale skin turn light grey with an white aura around her, brown hair still the same but the rest of her is now changed. She is trap with the woman who caused all of this.
