42 - can't get enough

"ross..." ryan started hesitantly. she had been thinking about asking him this for a while, and she wasn't sure how he was going to respond.

he clicked off his phone, and turned to her with a grin. "what's up?"

"i wanted to ask you something. and i want you to be honest, because your opinion matters a lot to me. okay?"

his brows furrowed, and he scratched the back of his neck. "of course. what's going on? is something wrong?"

"no-no. everything's fine, i was just wondering how you'd feel if i met up with timothee. just like, for coffee or something." she nervously looked down at her hands, cracking her knuckles to distract herself.

ross puffed his cheeks, and exhaled. "uh i mean if you want to i'm not gonna stop you. i trust you, and i trust you to make good choices." he started, taking her hands in his own. "and i might not be the biggest fan of timothee, but i'm definitely a fan of you and if you feel like this is something you need to do, then who am i to disagree?"

ryan melted, and pressed a soft kiss to his lips. "you're so amazing." she mumbled against the soft flesh, pecking his lips once again. "thank you for being so understanding. he's asked me a couple times to meet up, and i just wanted to catch up with him, you know? he was a big part of my life, and even though he cheated on me, i'm not really one to hold grudges."

ross looked incredulous. "you're really something else, ryan riddle. you might just be the sweetest girl i've ever met."

ryan shrugged, a blush creeping onto her cheeks. "hating's a waste of energy, man. i'm not about that." she chuckled, flopping down onto the bed.

ross flopped down beside her, and pushed himself up on his elbow, admiring the soft pinkish colour that tinted her cheeks. "i can't get enough of you."
