********* Hero's POV***********

Once we finally get tot he bottom I bolt to the bathroom,Jo does the same.

"Next time,we should go before we climb" Jo says to me once we rejoin each other.

"Next time?! Yeah um I'm not doing that again" I laugh at Jo

"So you think......the girlfriend always wins babe" Jo winks

"So you're dead serious about us going kayaking too?" I question Jo

"Yes! Please it'll be so much fun!" Jo squeals

I roll my eyes at her but cave in and sigh "ok let's go get a rental"

"Yey! It's this way if I remember the map right" Jo says as she walks to the left

Once Jo and I rent a two person kayak we argue about who goes in front with me surprisingly winning. I'm stronger and have the better sense of direction.

"Babe this view is gorgeous!" Jo exclaims

I turn to her the view is great but I'm not talking about the nature around us. I didn't realize how long I'd been looking at her until she yelled my name

"HERO!"

"Oh sorry I was just looking at my favorite view" I smile and wink at her

Jo shakes her head and blushes as she turns her head.

I lean in to kiss her when she surprises me and pushes me and makes our kayak to tip over

"Josephine!!" I yell at her

She tilts her head back in laughter "you should've seen your face" she says in between laughs

"I'm getting you back for that!" I reply to her

"Only if you can catch me!" She yells as she's swimming away

I quickly catch up to her behind her and pull her arm
She instinctively wraps her legs around my waist and her hands around my neck.

"This feels oddly familiar" I can't help but say to her

"Does it now? I think I need a reminder of what happens next." She says to me as she rubs my neck

No longer caring if someone could see us I lean in and kiss her. Every time I kiss her I lose myself. She pulls the hair on the back of my neck and deepens the kiss. I lick the bottom of her lip to ask for entrance. She lets me and our tongues intertwine in the way they always do, in perfect rhythm. She lets out a moan which only sends sparks through my body. When I move away to catch a breath Jo whispers in my ear.

"Thank you for this day. Let's go home to finish the day"

I smile and give her a quick peck on the lips before swimming back to our kayak.

Our ride home is silent but a good silent, a content silence.
