It was a dark and cold night, and I was coming back from work. I have always taken this route home but, for some reason today it felt odd and scary. More than halfway there to my apartment building, I tried to discharge the idea of going back and taking a different way back home. I'm almost home anyway.  Putting the volume of my music louder to set my heartbeat and make the quiet place less quiet, I set off to walk at a fast pace. I didn't see anyone as I walked and that is normal, only a few people live around here plus it's a peaceful neighbourhood. I blinked and from the cover of my eyes, I saw a figure. I looked back, my heart in my throat but saw nothing.  Letting go of the though and convincing myself that I was just tired  I walked on. Now, only two blocks away from my home, I stopped short my breath hitched in my throat. I swear, I saw it again. It was following me. Not wanting to find out who it was, I ran the rest of the way home, only stopping when I saw the front door of my apartment building. Seeing my home made me feel safe and I started fiddling with my keys to find the one that opens the door. I was about to insert the key inside when the door opened from the inside and a guy in a dark gold mask was in front of me. The last thing I heard was the ringing of a high pitched sound of the gun.

"There was a murder on Gray street in a small neighbourhood called  East Anderson. The victim was a 22-year-old woman who works in a hospital. It is believed that she was coming back from work when she was shot in the middle of her forehead right in front of her apartment building, around 12:30 am..."

"Seriously? What's going on!? Just a few weeks ago there was a guy shout in the middle of his forehead and buried under the leaves of his neighbour's garden. Who is this person going around killing everyone?" I said to myself then continued eating my breakfast as the news went on.

"Her body was found in the morning around 6:00 by a resident of the apartment building, who was on his way to work. The police questioned some residents and the owner of the building but found no information that could explain the situation. They checked the CCTV but there was a gap..."

Whoever this person is going around killing everyone is very good at the job.

I turned off the TV with a sigh and got up from the sofa with my bowl in hand. Suddenly feeling dizzy, I grabbed on to the arm of the sofa to regain my balance. Just as quickly as it came it went away. I got up feeling normal again.

What was that?

Putting the bowl in the sink next I put my shoes on when I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket.

I took it out seeing a message from Jungkook.

"What does he want now?" I rolled my eyes and opened the message.

Kookie: Hurry! I'm waiting for you at the lobby. Let's go together.

I rolled my eyes at the screen.

Minmin: WHo ToLD YoU To WaIt fOr ME?!

 Kookie: Me, Myself, and I?

Rolling my eyes again. I made my way out the door into the elevator and down in the lobby were I saw Jungkook leaning against the wall.

"Took you long enough"

"Not my fault! I didn't tell you to wait!"

"I guess I' m a good friend" he stated.
