40. Piano and Violin Duet

It had been a few days since my attack. I was walking down the hallway, hearing faint music flood through the room. I decided to follow it, and see you playing the piano. (Closed)

Emrys Oswald (@The Marionette) 

The Marionette I sit at the piano, playing für elise. I was completely lost in the music 

Emrys Oswald I walk in gently and see you playing as smile

The Marionette I continue to play, and the music changes to a slower melody 

Emrys Oswald I gently hum along to the melody 

The Marionette The melody comes to an end and I sigh and smile. I slowly turn around, but you surprise me. I jump a little and accidentally push some of the keys "Oh, sorry, I didn't see you there, Tessa"

Emrys Oswald "I'm sorry to scare you. However, you play the piano oh so beautifully." 

The Marionette "Thank you" I smile softly "What about you? Do you play anything?" 

Emrys Oswald "I actually used to play the piano and the violin, though I fear that I'm rather rusty.."

The Marionette I scoot a little "Would you like to play?" 

Emrys Oswald "Oh, well, sure." I sit down beside you and start playing one of Chopin's melodies, my hands gracefully dancing across the keys 

The Marionette I watch you and my head gently bobs to the melody

Emrys Oswald I smile as I gently finish the melody, my hands grazing the keys as I place them back in my lap 

The Marionette I look at you and smile slightly "You certainly didn't sound rusty to me" 

Emrys Oswald I blush a little. "Thank you." I smile and glance down at the piano 

The Marionette "Are you feeling better?" 

Emrys Oswald I nod. "Mighty better, thanks to your quick thinking using the first aid kit." 

The Marionette I rub my hands together "I wish I could have done more to help"

Emrys Oswald "I'm already thankful for what you did do to help." 

The Marionette I press my lips together and push one of the keys "So, when did you start learning the piano?" 

Emrys Oswald "When I was a little girl, and the violin when I was a little older." 

The Marionette I nod "Ah...well you play quite beautifully. I didn't start playing 'til was 13, that's when I found a piano here"

Emrys Oswald I nod. "But you play a lot better than I do."

The Marionette I shake my head "Nonsense, you have far more superior skill then I"
