I shake my head and smile "Its fine, I
think the twig will forgive you" I walk
over to you "So, how have you been?"

"Well, I'm mostly healed from my
Concussion, while my burns are now
just faint marks, nothing more. So. I
guess l've been doing pretty well."

I pat my side "My ribs have healed. I
thought I might celebrate by taking a
stroll through the woods" I take out my
father's journal "And also there might
be something down this path"

and chuckle as I walk alongside you.
"So then, I'm glad you've been staying
out of trouble."

we continue walking down the path.
"Now the fog is rather interesting."

I quickly flip though the pages of my
father's journal "Yes, yes it is. I wonder
what it means?"

"Maybe perhaps, that we're
approaching an ominous, but special
place. I've been here before."

"You have?" I almost trip on a tree root
"Oop! I'm good!"

"Well, when I was coming into the
grounds, I spotted a plaque with a
photograph."

"Then that must mean something
important if it was on a plaque and in
this journal"

(Night!) "The photograph was a picture
of your mom and dad, and they
mentioned something about a kiss or
whatever." I shake my head

I stop for a split second, then keep
walking. I say quietly "I must have
missed that photograph"

Inod slowly. "I dunno if that's the
location in the journal, but I saw it on
the way to the castle."

"Chances are, its important in some
sort of way'

Inod. "Does it mention the place in
your dad's journal and perhaps what
happened there?"

I flip through the journal "Well, lets
see..." | walk with my nose in the
journal and I bump into a tree"Oh!" |
back up a little and adjust my glasses

"You okay?" I chuckle a bit

look up from the journal "Hm? Oh
yeah, I'm fine. And, um, the tree is fine,

"Okay then. Did you find what you
were looking for in the journal?"

"Wait, what was I looking for?" I stop, a
little confused "Wait a minute, how'd I
get here?" The fog was thick in the air
"Whoa, wait..." I look at the journal
"This area of forest is giving me
amnesia, but I don't think affects you
for some reason"

"It's due to the fog Peter. Designed to
help a person to forget the location of
the place they're looking for, but
thankfuly, the effect disappears." I
stick two of my fingers in an Anti-
Amnesiac Fog bottle, then touch my
fingers to the fog, the fog slowly
disappearing

The fog vaporizes and disappears "Oh,
I see you've been learning some
magic...stuff" I smle

I smile a bit. "I found the potion in your
father's lab, thought that it might
possibly come in handy." I smile as the
fog clears, and then we see an elegant
hil. "I believe we're almost there."

I smile widely "Yes! That hill isn't far.
Are you tired?" | hold your hand
without noticing I was doing it

"No, not really." I sile a bit. "Just out
of curiosity though, if I said I was tired.
what would've happened?"

"Well, I wWould have dropped everything
and taken you back to the castle. I
Wouldn't want you to over exert
yourself and get hurt."
Emrys Oswald
"Well then, I'm doing just fine." I smile
and walk up the hill

I smile softly and follow you up the hill

Eventualy, I reach the top of the hill,
looking out at the amazing view. "You
can see the forest for miles and miles!"
I chuckle and find the plaque with the
photograph of your parents

Ireach the top and admire the view
"This is amazing! Definitely on of the
best views on the estate"

"l agree. And I found the plaque." I
motion you towards it so you can
check it out

I reluctantly look at the plaque, it had
been a long time since I had seen any
photos of my parents

I gently take your hand and squeeze it.
"It must be hard being in a place your
parents cherish so much.."

Inod slowly "Yeah..." T look at the
picture."l didn't realize how tall my
father was... thought he'd be shorter. I
guess because l'm so shot I figure that
he'd be um...short " I forcefully
chuckle, trying to lighten the mood

I chuckle along with you. "You're fun-
sized. and that's all that matters to
me."

"Thanks, Tess" I adjust my hat

I chuckle. "So then, why exactly have
you decided to bring me to a place that
was special to your parents?"

"Wel, I-um. I thought since you are so
special to me, I thought I'd take you to
a special place. And you mean so
much to me, you've changed me so
much. You've made me a better person
and um-" I rub the back of my neck
"'m not too good with words but, um, I
love you, Tessa"

I smile. "You're absolutely wonderful
with words. Every time that you say
you love me, I don't hear those words
with my ears, I hear them with my
heart, and I cherish them because of
how much I love and care for you

I smile warmly, then my eyes light up as

There's something I was going to do!"I
take out a letter and hand it too you
"Only open this after I've gone. It's
nothing bad I promise" I smile widely

"Alright." I take the letter. "But what do
you mean by gone?"

"Well, I'll be gone for a couple days.
But I won't be doing anything
dangerous, I promise. I'm not even
going to see any humans. I'm traveling
to the mountains to meet some
dwarves. It's perfectly safe"

"Alright then." I chuckle. "You'll have to
tell me absolutely everything about
these dwarfs. I've always wanted to
meet one "

"Oh, I will. It's going to be an
interesting experience. I've read that
dwarves are quite stubborn...and
short...and have beards"

I chuckle. "When do you depart
Peter?"

"Tomorrow, early in the morning"

"Alright. " I fiddle with the letter in my
hand. "Why can't I open this letter
now?"

"Hmm" I rub my chin "I guess you
could open it"

"'Alright then." I find an open patch of
grass looking out through the forest as

I've only known you for a short time, I
feel like l've known you my whole life.
I'm writing this letter to tell you that I
love you, and alvways will. I couldn't
imagine my life without you. I wish that
I was gifted with words, but I shall try
my best to express what l'm feeling.

skeleton sticks out of the door and

you. I straighten my back and smile
"l'm certainly going to miss you, Tessa"

I turn to get on the train, but then I run
back out and kiss you

your action as my hand cups your

moment then move back to the train. I
sit at the window as the doors shut and
smile at you.
