This is currently my room right now. It's really small, but I plan on moving to a different one maybe soon. I prefer to live in a waterfall, so that's what I'm counting on for the future. -Halstein

montparnasse Xena: I knock on your door. I hadn't found you at the waterfall and wanted to make sure I didn't hate you since we lived near eachother, so I decided to try here. Hilde I was laying in bed, when I suddenly hear someone nick on my door"Hello? Who is it?" montparnasse "Xena, the mermaid that lives in the pond by the waterfall," I say through the door, pushing a hand through my hair. Hilde I get up, and unlocks the door "eh, hello... Do you need something?" montparnasse "Well, since we sorta live next to each other, I was just gonna say hi and make sure you aren't some twat."

Hilde I look with wonder at you "twat? No, don't hope so" I laugh a little "I'm Halstein" Hilde "Nice to meet you" montparnasse "Nice to meet you too!" I smile and reach up, scratching my neck where gills would be. Hilde I look at my little room, and finds a chair for you to sit on "here, come in" I smile montparnasse I walk in and sit on the chair you offered me, crossing my legs. "So, what are you exactly?"

Hilde I smile "I'm something called Fossegrim. It's almost like a special kind of an elf, but still not really. Being a fossegrim makes me extremely good with string instruments, and my favorite is my violin" I point at my violin standing across the room montparnasse y I glance over a the violin and then back at you, raising an eyebrow. "I'm guessing you can do something with it other than play, or else you'd just be an extremely skilled human." Hilde I laugh a little "wanna find out?" | take up my violin montparnasse "As long as it won't hurt me." | smirk slightly. Hilde I start to play. First I play really slow and beautiful, but I slowly speed it up.

Hilde "How do you like it so far??" montparnasse At first I was just tapping my foot to the beat, but as the song sped up I found myself getting up and dancing. "What the fuck? Dude, you can force people to dance? That's fuckin awesome." Hilde I laugh "yes, not only that" I change the way I play my violin completely. The sound is getting somehow magical, and you almost hear voices. I paralyzes you, and makes it to you just stand still and stare, not reacting to anything that may happen around you. I suddenly stop, and you snap out of it montparnasse I stumble a bit before catching myself after snapping out of it. At first I look alarmed, but then a slow grin spreads across my face. "Dude, that's so fucking cool. I get lame powers and you get the ability to paralyze people. So not fair." I laugh a bit and stand up straight, pushing a hand through my hair. Hilde I laugh "well, I try not to paralyze people to much" I smirk montparnasse "I can mimic any voice I hear an god dammit if one more person asks my to do a Morgan Freeman impression I am going to lose it." I snicker. Hilde I laugh "then I should probably not ask for that" I smile "are you hungry? I'm just about to make myself some great with cheese" montparnasse I shake my head. "No, l'm fine, thanks."

Hilde (Bread with cheese*) "no? Okay, then. More to me" I smile, and make myself a slice of bread and sit down in my bed montparnasse "So, where did you come from?" Hilde "I came from a little waterfall in Norway. I used to live there" montparnasse I nod. "I'm guessing humans took it over? I come from California, I used to live in the Pacific. But with all of the fishing and oil spills, there's really no way that I could have promised safety than coming here." I shrug, chewing on the inside of my cheek. Hilde I nod "The humans put my waterfall in cables to produce electricity, which resulted in me having to move"

montparnasse "They really do think they're the only ones on this earth." I laugh bitterly. "Besides the few that do. They spend their time hunting us." Hilde "All true. We are special, which makes us dangerous to them" montparnasse "At least four of my friends had been caught in the month before I came here. Four. In a month." I roll my eyes, obviously pissed. "They are strong, though, you have to admit that." Hilde I nod "yeah, no doubt" montparnasse "Thats why I drown em. Much easier than fighting."
