"Finished!!" Carol informed gladly, although Snowy already fallen asleep, but as her dear Carol started again talking to her, she jumped on her shoulder to see what she wrote. "So? What do you think?" Carol asked and still studied the text. Snowy barked for praise and Carol happily smiled "So, that's it. I can say I like it enough too."

The lyrics was nothing special, just random crazy song about Christmas, she would sing instead of carols. Then she realized how long she was writing it and in shock shouted "GODDAMN IT! I'm going to be late..again! C'mon Snowy!" They both started to run down from the mountain, back to Whoville. Be somewhere in time wasn't Carol's speciality, but she tried to fix it. She tried, okey?

She quickly ran through the crowd to the post office and saw nervous dad behind the cash register. "Here you are, thanks God! I was worried you won't come, look at how crowded it's here!" Lou sighed and gratefully stroked daughter's shoulder, pointing over few letters "Can you take these and put it in drawers?" Carol nodded, holding them "Sure thing, dad. Are you sure you don't want me to help you here?" But he already stopped listening to her, Whos were full of passion to get their each delivery as first. Carol rolled her eyes and rather made her way to the storage.

As always, there was such a mess of presents, letters and boxes. Carol gave papers in drawers first and then started to clean. Everything had to be on right place to not make any bigger mess, especially when they get around 100 delivers daily! Carol putted her headphones on and, as usually, work was immediately better for her and more funnier. She was almost finished, but then father came in. "Carol..aren't you picking Cindy from school?" he asked and Carol nodded "Yeah, why?"

"Mrs. Who called me that Cindy is afterschoool...she wants me to come, but I can't and mom is working on the lights.." he explained, annoyed of the situation, so Carol putted headphones down and instead dressed her jacket "I'll solve it, don't worry about that. I'll be soon back..together with Cindy." Lou was surprised and quite glad from Carol's quick help, but then he gently stopped her "Thank you, sweetie, but are you sure you'll solve it calmly? You know that you've never had good relationships with teachers.."

Carol annoyingly nodded "I'll be calm, Snowy will control that." Snowy barked for yes and Lou happily smiled "Alrightly then. Hope it's not going to be anything that much important." Carol knew that Cindy's teacher isn't that good as she presented. Cindy often had different opinions, which not everyone was able to accept. But Carol was ready to stand on Cindy's side anytime and at any decision. She quickly left the post office and headed in rush to school with running Snowy behind her. Carol wanted get her precious one out of the school as soon as possible.

She was almost opening the door of school, but then she noticed Snowy stopped, simply looking around. "Hun? Everything alright?" Carol called and confusingly checked her. Snowy was still standing and didn't reacted at her talking. "Maybe she doesn't want in that hell place, supposed to be called school" Carol thought and rather left Snowy outside. If only she knew what was actually Snowy's reason. Because on Christmas time, even dogs find, not only presents like bones, but love in others of their kinf. And Snowy realized that when she noticed first another dog in her life.

"You see, Max? The city is a dangerous place" Figure in perforated brown fur coat said. Next to him was the dog. Snowy noticed how that figure carried a saw, so she quickly understood the unexcepted accident when Whos vehicycle broke few minutes ago. "Who are they?" she wondered and with quiet bark slowly followed them to find out. It wasn't only interest in the figure, Snowy realized she has such an interest in Max, the first dog she has ever met.

Meanwhile Snowy faced the mission to get information about these two strangers, Carol waited before the classroom to be allowed. The door opened and Carol walked in and saw her little sister sitting, sad and little scared, in last bench. "Cindy" she smiled and wanted come to her, but then she got stopped by, very well, known "EHEM". Carol annoyingly smiled and turned on the board. "Mrs. Who. What a lovely meeting" Carol glared and teacher angrily replied "As I see your cheeky behavior haven't changed at all."

Carol looked like she will by ever moment explode, so Cindy quickly took sister's arm and with pleased face DON'T DO THAT calmed her down. "I'm not here to solve you, Carol. Your sister is more important now" Teacher Who said and Carol nodded "Well, go ahead. What you don't like about my sister this time? Did she ate turkey from wrong side?" Cindy couldn't help herself but after this started to  laugh. "Stop joking!! This is the worstest thing that can ever happen on Christmas! Just repeat what you said!"

Cindy stopped laughing and nervously replied "I said..that everyone should celebrate Christmas with us...even The Grinch." After that, blinds from the window felt and teacher hysterically yelled out. "Gosh, you guys are behaving like in some horror!" Carol rolled her eyes and putted blinds back "But I'd like to know why for God's sake you're still talking about The Grinch, since you've actually never met him! Wake up, guys! Reality VS story for kids!"

"He's real more than you can even imagine and he's the only who is able destroy whole Christmas..he's a monster" Mrs. Who corrected her but Cindy immediately protested "No! Although he may is, he deserves to celebrate Christmas as any other Who in town with everyone." Carol looked at Cindy and pointed her to stand up "See? My sister is more clever than this school and almost entire Whoville. You should learn that it's not important how someone looks like, but who's inside. But he's anyway some motherfu-"

"I think it's enough for today. I would still gladly talk next time with Mr. Lou" Teacher quickly cutted Carol's sentence and pointed them to leave "For now, it's goodbye." Carol frowned "Thanks God, c'mon, baby." Cindy squeezed her arm and without any other frowns or words, they left. When they were finally outside, Cindy nervously pulled Carol's jacket. "Now you'll be in trouble..and it's all my fault! Agh, I've should have been silent.." Cindy sighed sadly, but Carol lovingly stroked her on face.

"I'm proud of you, baby. Today you proved me how fearless you actually are. To tell your opinions in public needs courage and you got it! Plus your opinion on that greeny lame was kind of interesting. Well, let's face it, everyone can celebrate, doesn't matter if he's green or pink" Carol winked and Cindy warmly smiled "So you're not angry with me?" Carol hugged her and giggled "Of course not, my silly. I love you tons."

"I love you more" Cindy smiled and hugged her back, even tighter. When they turned away, Carol looked at her, touching her nose "But promise me one thing; never be silent, cause your voice needs to be heard, in any situation, in any age. Because you're important for this world same as anyone is." Cindy proudly bowed "I will, sister promise!" Carol gladly nodded and then standed up "So let's go to dad, he is definitely worried where we are this long."

As they walked the street to post office, Carol noticed that Snowy is gone. She looked around, but all she saw were Whos. "Everything alright?" Cindy asked when she noticed Carol's worried face. "Oh, nothing. Snowy maybe just went for walk, I guess. Maybe she's waiting for us already at post office" Carol answered with hope in voice and continued walking. And she was right, but she would never imagine what was Snowy's reason going into post office without her.

She went in post office, because of her mission. Following two strangers, especially the pretty dog, she sorta liked. But the possible owner of Max seemed weird, very weird. Snowy studied him properly and soon realized he wasn't some Who. It was someone in town really unexcepted as visitor. The Grinch. Snowy knew him from stories she often heard on walk and it made her even more nervous still following them. But interest in his dog mate, pushed her to do that and couragely jumped to the window. Right to storage, where The Grinch started his Christmas schemes.

So that's another chapter! Few complications coming, it's more difficult as I'm thinking about the whole story and how my characters, specially Carol, going to turn out. But I actually really do enjoy this sarcastic icon. I mainly hear everything she says in Selena's voice, couldn't be more blessed to have her as face claim ngl. Thank you for reading, I'm sorry for all the mistakes, but I'm really trying to improve!! Hope you enjoyed and leave me here some comments
