I was squealing with excitement as we loaded into the van. We had just gotten off our flight from Newark to Chicago and were ready to head to our new hotel, although I wasn't planning on staying in one. It felt amazing to be back home, the familiar streets and scenery. Most of all, I was eager to be with my family and friends and sleep in my own bed.

The members had already left in another van, so I was piled up with makeup artists in a different one. My legs were bouncing up and down. Chan-ri noticed and laughed. "Calm down Belle, don't pass out before we even get there."

"Oops, sorry. I'm just so excited for you to see my home," I replied sheepishly. She nodded, and I turned my head and proceeded to stare out the window, taking back in all the memories. Even a few months felt like ages when I was away from good old Chicago.

I decided to text Jungkook since I hadn't seen him from before the flight.

I shoved my phone in my purse and set it near my feet. I chatted with the other artists about makeup looks the rest of the time and they asked me about Chicago. It was time to release my inner city girl. It seemed like a promising weekend so far.

The van arrived and I saw Jungkook standing outside with his luggage, scrolling through his phone. His eyes lit up when he saw us pulling up. All of us piled out and retrieved our luggage. Jungkook held his arms out and I hugged him. He kissed the top of my head and then grabbed his suitcase.
