"Listen okay? And understand every word."
    
       
I sat there in silent as he explain to me everything.
     
      
"From the moment I entered the cabin, I knew that the one's who lock you up are wolves. I don't recognize the scent but I can tell they're of higher ups. That is why I told you that I can't execute or help you escape but I will help you with planning. Well, let's just say, Wolf's honor not to harm another wolf without grave evidence or deep reason. And I have none at that moment. So, ahm, you did manage to escape thanks to the silver dagger I gave you. It inflicted an injury to whoever wolf it was. Just when I got to the river, I can smell your scent mixed with blood not far from the riverbed so I hurriedly follow your scent. And I found you, lying on the forest bed, unconscious. Alive, slowly loosing consciousness, but alive. So I decided to help in any way I can think of that would help you. I.....I bit you on your neck to spread the venom, my venom, and made you drink my blood. In that way. I-----"

"I will become a wolf. Am I right?"
      
      
He look at me with sympathy embedded on his face.
        
       
"I'm sorry but I couldn't just leave you there dying. My conscience won't let me. Be mad at me for deciding for your sake but I can't just let you die. I'm sorry. I'm rea-----"
      
       
I didn't let him finish his apology as I hug him.
      
      
"Thank you. Thank you so much for saving me. Quite disappointed really coz I thought I'm already dead and that the heavens accepted me but still, I am so grateful to you Antonio. This, the life you gave, the new hope for me to continue living, it is so overwhelming. And thank you so much for that."
      
       
I felt his arms snake it's way to my waist and pulled me closer for a tight hug. My shoulders getting wet from the tears that starts to fall from his eyes.
        
       
"Hey. Why are you crying? It's nothing. I'm fine. It's fine." I said as I pat his back.

"You should be the one comforting me not the other way around Antonio."
       
       
I felt him smile and I heard him chuckle. After a few seconds, he release me.
        
       
"I don't really know if I should be thankful because you understand what I needed to do or be upset that you literally think you're dead and now in heaven. Tss. Anyways, thank you for being open-minded."

"Psh. I did hope that I'm really dead and now in heaven." I answered pouting. He smack my head and glare at me.

"Estúpida."

He move away from me and started walking towards the door.
       
      
"Ya! What does that mean? Hey! Don't leave me here!"
       
       
I followed him when he step out of the door so I hurriedly hold the door open and step out. I look to my left and saw him walking away. I follow behind him tapping his shoulders.
    
       
"Antonio, where are we? Hey! Look at me. Why are we here? Answer me."
       
      
I look around and saw people looking at us, most especially at me with curious eyes.      
         
   
"Ahm. Hey! Wait up! They're all looking at me so weirdly. Please wait for me."
      
     
He stops and look back at me. Sighs and grab my arm. He stares at me intently so I got uncomfortable and look down on the floor.
    
     
"Why did you follow me?"
       
      
I look back at him and glare.
       
      
"Wha---what? Because you left me there alone and still confuse. Why wouldn't I follow you? Duh!"

"Psh. Let's go."
       
         
He messes my hair and smirks. He starts walking and since he's holding my arm, I am being drag. Tsk.
       
         
"Where are we? Where are you taking me?"

"I didn't know you could be this nosy?"

"Maybe because I have the rights to be one. I mean, you brought me here while I'm unconscious dumbass."

"¿Cómo podría ser tan inteligente?"
(How could she be this smart?"

"What in the world are you saying? Are you cursing me?"

"Just. Shut up okay?"

"Oh my god! Now your mad at me. What I'd do?"
      
        
He stops and thanks to my very intensified hearing, I heard him breathing hard. Like controlling not to be piss.
      
       
"no puedo creer que salve a esta chica."
(I can't believe I save this girl.)

"Stop speaking alien language dude. You know I can't understand shit right."

"Just. Shit. Fine. I'm going to meet the Alpha and report that you're awake."

"Are we-----Alpha what?"

"Fuck this. Just. Wait till we're there okay? They can explain everything to you. Please?"

"Tsk. Fine. Then can I go home after?"

"That. About that. Well, we----"

"Antonio."
       
        
I heard a deep voice coming from Antonio's back. I tilt my head to see a very handsome guy standing a few feet away from us.

Antonio turn around and slightly bow his head to the stranger. Who's he?
     
       
"Alpha."
       
     
Oh. Okay. So he's the Alpha Antonio's been talking about. Alphas gives me creeps after what happened to me.
     
     
"Hello." I said to the stranger and bow down my head. Like any moment my forehead will touch the floor.

"Hi. I see you're awake."

'I'm actually a figment of your imagination.'

"A-ah....Y-yes Alpha."

I heard him chuckle. Did he hear what I said? Shit. I look at him and a dimple appears on his right cheek. Cute.
     
     
"Shall we?"
       
     
He showed us his office. On the way, he explained some important stuff. Like, something about Alpha's and Luna's. And pack houses. And of course, pack rules too.

Also he told me some things about new shifters, like myself. He advice me to spend most of my time in my wolf form on our first day of shift. Wolves first shift always starts on full moon which is happening in 3 days. Jeez. Pressure.

The luna, luna Jessica also advised me or us to stay until I manage to shift. They said and I quote, "You and your wolf needs this. We don't want you to be a rogue now do we?" And of course, I'm not me if I won't ask what a rogue is.

They said rogues are vicious, violent, aggressive wolves. Not really all of them. There are some who also chooses to be a rogue to be free from a pack and the pack rules. To be free to roam around the world. But most rogues they say are like the three I describe above.

Alpha Toby and Luna Jessica accepted my situation without remorse and insisted that we should stay. Angelo and Ginny, Antonio's parents agreed and decided we'll leave after two weeks. They say it's enough time for me to adjust and I also think too.

The meeting went well and just after we finish, Sean, Alpha Toby's beta came to fetch us for dinner. I know Alpha Toby means no harm so as his beta but you can't blame me for feeling nervous and scared right. The things I've been through, I can't just forget all about that. Most especially if being a wolf or around an Alpha or beta reminds me every second about those monsters.

I only need some time to adjust to being with an Alpha and a beta. I know they won't understand my concern since I didn't say a thing about who the bastards are. But I know they could be trusted. Antonio and his parents won't bring me here if they're not. I only hope they won't find me here because I'll be the one hunting them.
