Brandon's P.O.V

I grabbed the sides of my surfboard, pushing my body upon my feet. Gliding across the cold waves , feelings the ocean breeze.

I looked around the ocean, noticing, Amara isn't here. My eyebrows narrowed in Disappointment. I jumped off my surfboard and let the waves pass me. I was underwater and the cold water hit my face.

I came up inhaling for air.

I opened my eyes and saw Amara standing there. She looked at me and dived in the waters, she came up and smiled at me.

"Took you long enough." I said towards Amara's direction.

"Sorry." she said smiling, she came towards me and grasped on my neck, my hands wrapped around her waist.

Our foreheads pressed together, while she wrapped her legs around my torso.

Her eyes didn't look away from mine, her precious face smiled at me, while the sun glazed upon her bright brown eyes.

She leaned in and kiss me.

"So how you've been."  She said

"Eh, I've been okay, not the greatest, my grandma is really getting on my nerves , lately. But now that I'm here with you I feel perfect." I said

She blushed deeply in my shoulder .

"Don't turn away from me." My hand gripped her face, turning her face back towards me.

I looked at her giving her a stern look.

She smiled at me and grabbed my hands. We stared into each others eyes as if we were having a staring contest.

The corners of her lip started to curve causing me to smile.

I was caught off guard when I heard a ringing in my ear.

I looked around confused.

"What's wrong ?" She said with her eyes widened, as nervousness filled her innocent face.

"Do you hear the ringing ?" I said grabbing her closely to me, not wanting to let her go.

I looked down at her, in my arms. She looked back at me, her skin started to evaporate like a gas, or a smoke bomb.

The last thing I remembered was Amara drifting to the sky. Then the world went black.

My phone went off and woke me up, I checked my phone.

14 messages from Juliet.

I opened my phone, and saw that she was asking for the homework.

"BRANDON GET OFF YOUR PHONE AND GET READY."  Grandma screamed.

I rolled out of bed put on some clothes , brushed my teeth etc.

"Good morning." Grandma Juicy said.

"Grandma, why do you call yourself Grandma Juicy?" Miguel asked.

why the fuck is he wearing a cowboy hat?

I looked at him confusing, and he just smiled at me.

the fuck is wrong with my family.

"Oh you don't need to worry about it, it's not a big of a deal, it was just my tv host name." Grandma juicy said handing me some waffles.

Miguel went up stairs probably to wake up Priscilla.

Grandma sat down in front of me , "Brandon I'm going to be honest, did you have a dream again ?"

I looked at her and looked back down at my hands, I nodded.

She groaned and put her hands over her face.

God when is she gonna realize I'm happy this way, I love Amara can't she see that?"

"Brandon I think it's time we start giving you your pills." She told me with no hope in her eyes.

I wasn't a fan of the idea, does she know the pills aren't fun to take?

"NO!"

"Brandon, this girl you're seeing , she isn't real! You're becoming attached to someone who isn't living!" She pleaded

"It feels real! You don't fucking understand. God none of you do, Priscilla doesn't understand she just thinks I'm psychotic, Miguel things I'm mental, Juliet calls me Weird. NONE OF YOU UNDERSTAND ! The only person that gets me is Amara, and it's always been Amara!"

"SEE BRANDON, this is what I'm talking about, you're changing, you're not the same boy I know anymore, you hardly play with you're friends. You don't even talk to us , or ME! We can get you on pills just to bring your mind back, we need you to stop having theses dreams."

"Please Brandon, this is not okay." Her voice cracked as if she was gonna cry.

I rolled my eyes and let out a sigh.

"Fine. We can try them I guess."

Grandma's head shot up and was shocked I said yes.

"Thank You. We can go to the doctors tomorrow."

I rolled my eyes at her and I felt sad.
