Chapter One

New house, new place for my new pace of job. It was a sunny day and I'm almost finished fixing my things up I just got a little problem with my last box. My tools. Not a tool box, but my tools for filming. I needed to get them inside to clean and this huge vestil case is not giving me an easy way.

I stop at the sudden crack of metal.

I look up to see the woman next door. For a split second, I could feel a muscle tightens down my belly. I've never really seen her in person, but I must say, she is, what they say she is. Her raven hair is shining like a black marble under the sun and her face... Alluring. She glides down from her house to her car, like she was floating in the air. She walked past me and I turn my gaze away. Not giving away that I've been staring. I've never thought that she could be this captivating.

I looked back at my car and lines form in my forehead. I tried to pull it out again, but it's no good. I can't even take it off from my boot!

Fuck!

"Hey."

I flinched from the sudden voice. I turned around to see who it was and it's her.

"Do you need a hand with that?" popping her brown eyes on me.

"No, it's fine. I can handle it." I simply replied.

"It doesn't look like it to me." she said pressing the matter. Has she been watching me? I looked back at my car and at the case. I do need help.

I sigh and half smiled. "If you insisted."

She came over and watched me pull out the case, but alas, the damn thing is stuck! I'll have Emily answer to this when I see her. I chew on my teeth. She had a look at the problem and after a second she ask me to move aside a little and I did. She lifted a few things out and when she dug a deep breath, viola! The 24 inch case was out of my metal wagon.

I think I saw some veins popping from her arm.

Together, we carry the aluminum box from my car to the foyer and into the living room.

"You new here?" she turned her face to me, breaking the ice.

"Yeah, just moved in today." we lay my huge case next to my grey couch.

"Can I ask you, what's inside of that box?" she stood beside.

"It's not something alarming, but I'd say it's my tools for filming." I replied, scattering my eyes and my hand on the case lying in front of us. Something popped at it, I gasp. How could I forgot that it has rollers?! I rolled my eyes. It can be hidden by this clicking covers so it'll looked clean. I just forgot about it. Ops.

I turn my eyes up into her and she was waiting. I frown. "I was asking your name?"

Right... "Sorry. I'm Diana. Diana Prince. I move out from New York. You?"

I stood up. Her smile faltered and then a little frown had drawn to her temple.

"You, what's your name?" repeating myself, not making things a big deal.

"Oh.. ah.. I'm.. Kendall Jenner." she cracked a small smile, but I could still feel the awkwardness inside her.

I smile. "I kinda know that. I just want to make sure." I really want to make sure that she is Kendall Jenner. I've never imagined her as someone like this. Friendly and approachable. She's even the one who came to me first and ask if she could help! According to the public, she is one selfish, self absorbed and snub bitch and she isn't any of that.

She nods at me in relief. "Yeah, of course."

"Thank you for the hand. I much appreciate it."

"No problem. We're neighbors so if you need anything, just ring me up."

That would probably not gonna happen. "Yeah, sure. Thanks again, neighbor."

We stared at each other. Her mysterious brown eyes linger on mine. Weird, but it doesn't feel awkward at all.

"I uh... You... wanna have a drink?" I gulp. Her lips parted, but nothing came out of it. "You know... uh, coffee? Tea? Or... juice? I got a nice view at the back... That... if.. You're not that busy." I cursed inside me.

Why did I ask her that? Bitch you don't do that! She's not going to accept it anyway so it's fine-

"Is kiwi-strawberry shake fine?" sweet and cute. That's her smile looks like.

She just live next door and I am sure that we both have the same view back at her house, but she oddly accept my invitation. I lead her at the back and yes, it is cinematic. The reason why I bought this house is this. The view. It's overlooking at the city  and the sunset in the afternoon is exceptional. There's an infinity pool on the side if you wanted to go for a swim. A cute patio on my left corner with some grille for a nice night barbecue. The house has three bedrooms. A small movie theater, perfect for me and there's already an office where I could work. It's simple and I liked it. Job well done for Emily on that.

"Why'd you move from New York? It's New York?" she was looking at the view when I came back with our drinks. I reach her her fruit shake and sat beside her.

It's so peaceful. I turn my gaze to her and watch her sip on and it looks like she liked the drink. "It's for my job."

"Yeah, but it's New York?" she frowned at me. "Everybody wants to work there."

"Yes, Miss Jenner, but probably not everybody. Look at me? I'm here." curious little bird are you. "I got an internship there. It was a hell of a hell working there and after I graduated, they took me in. I guess I got lucky!"

"No, that was not a luck. I think they saw how good you are and hard working you are. What do you do anyways?"

I was shooked. I looked at her in awe. She didn't even hesitate on saying that. It was pure and sincerely came out of her mouth. "I'm uh.. film director."

"Wow. How old are you? You look young for a film director. Are you living alone?" she pulled me out of my thoughts.

"Thank you for the compliment. I'm 25 and I live alone."

"Do you still have... uh.." she carefully ask and it made me smile again.

Why didn't anyone write about how sweet and soft Kendall Jenner is? Because the public only see what they wanted to see and what's in front of them. "I do. They're in New York. I have a brother if wanted to ask. I'm the only one who moved here."

"You know, Diana. I just met you, but I'm liking you already. Specially on how you treat me. No special treatment. No pretending. No overly dramatic shits. If you know what I mean?" her serious face talks it all. Being in front of the camera at a young age is not as nice as what others say.

"To me, you are just like the other normal girls. It's just the way of your living that's keeping you. You maybe the Kendall Jenner outside of that door, but here, at my house, you are you. I want to keep things real. That's how I wanted to and that's what I wanted to be. " I looked back at her and she's already staring at me.

I was new in town and she was my neighbor. Right next to mine.
