The opening shows the still-horrified faces of Team DANY and Team RWBY, upon seeing their guide for the week.

Weiss: Professor Oobleck?
Oobleck: Yes, I'm afraid those bags won't be necessary, girls and boys. Seeing as you've opted to shadow a huntsman on what is now essentially a reconnainesse mission. I can assure you we will not be establishing a single bass of operations. Rather we will be traversing several miles of hazardous wasteland and making camp in any defendable locations we may stumble upon. I've packed all our essentials myself provided the air courses and readied the airship. And....
He suddenly comes to Weiss closer to her face.
Oobleck: It's DOCTOR Oobleck. I didn't earn a PhD for fun thank you very much. (quickly backs away). Now, any question?
Weiss looks over at Dark, who he's also equally disturbed.
Weiss: Uh...
Oobleck: Come now, children; according to my schedule, we are already three minutes behind!
Then, as an afterthought to clarify;
Oobleck: ...schedule!
He zips off to the airship docked farther ahead in a second. Ruby at first tries to be positive and upbeat.
Ruby: Well, alright, then! Looks like we're going to save the world with Doctor Oooobleck-
She suddenly becoming as depressed as her team halfway through.
Ruby: Okay, yeah when you say it out loud it sounds worse.
Daniel: It does, Ruby.
He pats Ruby's head when a voice yelled out for them.
Nora: SAVE THE WORLD?!
All eight of them turn around to see Nora and Team JNPR approaching.
Nora: (being dramatic) You're going to on world-saving-mission without us? I'm sad and hurt!
Her stomach rumbled.
Nora: Also a bit hungry? That last one's not my fault, though. Ren!
He crosses his arms and turns away.
Ren: Hmph!
Jaune: Sounds exciting! Where are you going?
Daniel: Well, just outside of the kingdom.
Nora: Hey! So are we!
Pyrrha: Ren and Nora wanted to shadow the sheriff of a nearby village.
Ren: We set out tomorrow.
Neptune: (offscreen) Then you can party with us tonight!
Neptune and Sun then also join the conversation too.
Neptune: We're shadowing a crime specialist. All inner-city detective stuff. We get junior badges.
Jaune is awestruck by this.
Sun: We normally go to the city with you guys, which means stuff's always exploding and junk, so we thought this might be a better way to check out the kingdom when it's, you know... normal.
Daniel: Yeah, with us.... crazy things always happened.
Ruby: Well--
Oobleck suddenly call Team DANY and Team RWBY from the airship, which makes Ruby embarrassed.
Oobleck: Four minutes, ladies and gentlemen!
He goes back inside as their friends smile awkwardly at the the eight.
