I got tired of playing, so I decided to lean back and rest my eyes for a little bit not realizing that I fell asleep

"Bro, she's asleep what do we do?" Jungkook asks as he looks at a beautiful Y/N sleeping. "Get out of the room and let her sleep? duh" Jimin says and starts walking out putting away the controllers. Jungkook looks at Y/N once before leaving. The last one to leave was Taehyung, 'she looks so beautiful when she's asleep' he thought and shook his head to clear his thoughts.

"Yo, Tae, why are you so cold to her?" Jimin asks Taehyung. Taehyung raises his eyebrows "What do you mean?" he asks "Well she kept looking at you and you just snapped at her, that's rude." Jimin explains "What if she tells her father?" Jungkook asks and Taehyung shrugs "We'll see," he says and returns to look back at his phone. 

What was he looking at? a picture of Y/N he took while she was playing the game with the boys. Why he took it? not even he knows, she just looked so beautiful at that moment to him that he couldn't resist. He unconsciously smiled and Jimin and Jungkook didn't miss that little smile.

Mr.Jeon arrived for dinner like he promised Y/N. The 3 boys were outside the dining room while Mr.Jeon and his daughter spent some time together. "So, how are they so far?" he asked her referring to the 3 bodyguards.

"They are a really cool dad! I feel like I already trust them, dad, I don't know why I am thanking you. But I guess thank you for introducing them to me. They all seem really nice and I can't wait to get to know them better" Y/N says and her dad smiles as he sips his wine. 

The boys heard what Y/N said. Jimin was pleased, Jungkook's heart fluttered he somehow found her really cute, and Taehyung was really surprised. 'she didn't tell her father about my rude actions?' 

"Y/N, honey tomorrow we have to attend a little party for all the riches. I need you to be ready by 6" dad says and I nod, I'm used to these parties. Ever since people found out about me they insist that I come. After dinner I take a walk outside, we have a garden with a lot of pretty flowers. My favorite is the roses, no matter how cliche it sounds. 

It's not just how the roses look, it's that even the prettiest of roses have thorns. Roses remind me of my life, no matter how pretty it looks from the outside, it's pretty rough. People may think that I have all this money, a big house, and a loving family. But I don't even have a family, my only family is my dad. 

My mom died...dad never tells me much about how that happened and I have a brother, but I don't know where he is. Money and house never really mattered to me. You can have a little amount of money, a small house and still be happy because you have love. 

This isn't a life my dad wanted for me, I know that, but life doesn't always go as you planned. I would know, I used to go to school, hang out with my friends, have social media. Now I don't go to school anymore, I got homeschooled and then I graduated, I had to delete all my social media accounts and the only friends I have left now are Josh and Mia. I had planned a big future, going abroad to study, having a stable relationship, being successful. But I can't even step outside without someone guarding me. 

Josh went abroad for studies and Mia and I talk sometimes. She got married and she's been busy with her life, she was forced to marry some guy. I always hope the best for her, hopefully, she can make it work with that guy. "Are you okay?" a deep voice snaps me out of my thoughts. 

Taehyung p.o.v.

She's been standing there and looking at the roses for quite some time. She seems to be thinking really deeply about something, she looks cute when she's concentrating, Aish! what am I thinking?! 

I decide to approach her "Are you okay?" I ask her and she looks shocked to see me but quickly composes herself. "Yeah, I'm okay," she answers. She starts walking and I unconsciously follow her "Do you need something?" she asks.

"I'm your bodyguard remember, I'm supposed to go everywhere go" I nudge her arm and she smiles. She looks like she's holding back a laugh, then she bursts out in laughter. "Why are you laughing?" I ask her and she takes a deep breath before answering me. "Because the Kim Taehyung is trying to start a conversation with me!" she laughs. 

I look at her and smile, I can feel my face turning red and my heart pounding out of my chest. I am trying to start a conversation. why? I don't know, I just want to hear her talk. "Fine, I'll leave then" I tease her and turn away, but she holds my arm and turns me to face her.

She looks directly into my eyes "Taehyung, please don't leave me" she says. And at that moment I'm so lost in her eyes, I feel this weird feeling like my heart is gonna burst and my stomach is doing flips. "I won't leave you Y/N" I answer her, looking into her eyes. It was like a promise, a promise we didn't need to stamp on. We didn't need to say it out loud, we knew deep inside that we made a promise.  A promise that'll be kept.

*What Y/N and Taehyung didn't know what that there were 3 pairs of eyes watching them all along*
