"What is it halmeoni?" I ask...she strokes Y/N's hair and looks towards me. "I want you and Y/N to get married," she says. Y/N chokes and excuses herself from the room, I just sit there trying to make sense of what she's saying. It's so quiet you could hear a pin drop. 

Then Y/N comes back in the room, "I'm sorry, but I can't-" "No is not an option" halmeoni interrupts. Y/N crosses her arms over her chest, "With all due respect, but this is my life and I get to decide who I want to marry" she says. Halmeoni doesn't seem to mind Y/N's rudeness, but I don't say anything because Y/N has a valid point. 

"This is my last wish dear," halmeoni says, Y/N does not budge and looks at halmeoni like she's unreal."How about you sleep on it and tell me? I'm going to be at the hospital so you and Taehyung can go over to my place" she encourages us. I nod and look over at Y/N, she huffs but agrees. 

On our way to Halmeoni's home Y/N is quiet, "Y/N-" she holds up a hand and I purse my lips, "things aren't great between us, I don't know if what we have is forever. I can't rush this and get married to you. My father wouldn't have wanted this either" she says. "Y/N, please don't say that- what we have is special. My halmeoni-" 

"Your halmeoni wants you to get married. What you had with your ex was also special. How about you fulfill your grandma's wish and get married to your ex?!" she stomps away to my room. I follow her and say nothing as I watch her plop down on the bed.

Y/N pov

What I said was rude. I know. But how can I just get married to Taehyung when we're not even on good terms right now. When he slept with his ex. I turn away from him and we both say nothing. Iove him, a lot. But that doesn't mean I just get married to him. That's a big commitment, to be tied to one person.

I hear someone sob and I turn around to see Taehyung. My poor baby, I move closer and wrap my arms around him, he turns around to face me and buries his face in my neck. "Y/N, can you please at least think about it? she means a lot to me and if this makes her happy-" "Shh, I'll tell you tomorrow" I hush him and I feel him nod.

"Y/N?" "Yeah?" "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said during dinner earlier, that wasn't right of me. I love you. A lot. And if you don't want to-" I cut him off as I turn to face him and give him a kiss, he's caught off guard, but quickly responds with a smile dancing on his lips.

"You know what happened the last time we were here?" he asks cockily and I roll my eyes playfully, "Shut up, Tae" I groan. "Come one, this time you can be louder-" I turn away from him groaning. "I'm just playingg" he says and wraps his arms around my waist as we both drift to sleep.

(Time Skip to the hospital)

"So what do you say, Y/N?" Halmeoni asks, "I think you should give her time, it's a big dec-" "Yes." I say interrupting Taehyung. He shakes his head and looks at me like this is a dream, halmeoni smiles "You'll marry Taehyung?" she asks, "Yes" I confirm.

"But Y/N-" I hold Taehyung's cheeks, "Baby, last night reminded me how much I love you. And we'd have to get married sooner or later, hopefully, right? And if this makes halmeoni happy, then this is the least I could do for her. Your mother is my mother." I say and Taehyung's eyes water as he pulls me into a hug. "Of course we'd marry- I mean we're going to marry now-I...couldn't have asked for a better girl" he whispers the last part in my ear.

||| Halmeoni looks at both of them with twinkling eyes. This is all she ever wanted, for someone to take care of Taehyung when she could no longer live. For Taehyung to be happy with the love of his life. Because life without love is hard, she learned that when her husband passed away. Now, she doesn't want Taehyung to be lonely, that is why her last wish is for Y/N and Taehyung to get married. Because no one could make Taehyung happier than Y/N, not even halmeoni|||
