"Bambi?" Alastor raised an eyebrow at me from over his coffee mug. I playfully stuck my tongue out at him in reply. A waitress passing by gave me a look like she thought I was insane, making me bite back a peal of laughter.
"Well you're a deer," I said, feeling a bit flirty. Alastor's grin stretched across his face in amusement.
"Fair enough," He chuckled, taking my hand in his. A blush spread across my cheeks at the public display of affection.
I had to admit, I was really enjoying our little breakfast date. It had been a long time since I had done anything like this. And with Alastor, it felt natural.
We were having an enjoyable time, when I froze. From where I was sitting, I had full view of the door. Curious and a little concerned, Alastor turned to see what I was staring at.
Charlie had walked through the door and was headed right for us.
