Something, somewhere you'll find.

And on the inside, she mourns.
Her beginning, was broken...
But will a happy ending shine through?
She needs to find the shards.
The Shattered Shards...

Glimmering, shining, but some fade through the dark.
They are lost, they are found, and their hope has sadly been shattered.

.
But one was chosen, the broken one.
She has decided, but not just yet.
Was this right? Was it faulty?

"Ugh..."
Batting and blinking her eyes, she slowly opened them, feeling blinded by the bright, shimmering light. Her fingers lingered almost unconsciously on a crystal on a pink desk.
The background seemed to show that this place was Pink's chambers, but they seemed to be Spinel's, now.
She was still lying down on the unneeded bed, as she picked up the rainbow crystal, as it seemed to change it's color in the form of the rainbow slowly, blending lightly, the colors seemed to swirl, and it was like a dream. A beautiful dream, that she didn't want to be waken up from. Lying down, she holds the crystal in her hand, softly and gently. There was a strange, but amazing imprint in the middle of the crystal, that Spinel always wondered countless times about.
She has always wondered what it meant, but she could never come to a conclusion. Steven gave it to her as a friendship gift, since he found it by the tree, and there were actually two. He kept one, since it looked so pretty.
"Huh... what was that voice? I keep on hearing it every time I nap, which is unexpected because I never choose to nap, but it happens so often..."
She quietly muttered to herself. Everything had been so strange since she had received this crystal. It felt... magical somehow, and the shimmer felt so... alive. She took the crystal and felt the string that was attached to it. It also came with the crystal, so maybe someone left it at Steven's tree on purpose. She shook her head at the silly thought, and put the glimmering rainbow crystal on.
She felt like a fulfilling warmth had been wrapped around her like a hug, and she was suddenly filled with energy. An energy that makes her happy, and gives her the hope of a million colors.
She hums a gentle and light tune while she stands up from the luxury and softness from the cotton, brushing areas of fatigue, and shutting the bright lamp off. She looked very tidy, and the tear marks of sadness have lessened a tiny bit, although hasn't been able to get them off at all. You could tell by her looks that she was doing very nice, as she looked pampered and glowing brightly with happiness. Her gem was glowing alongside with the shimmering crystal, as she plays with a pigtail on the right. It was much softer than before, and she looked at her clothes.
It was sort of similar to Pink Diamond's look, but she didn't really want to look like her, so White allowed great changes to it. She opened the large doors, and her fingers seemed to feel up upon the large imprints on the magenta structure. She skipped along the shimmering pink corridors, as she also waves to some passing figures, who have jobs to do at Pink's palace. She danced around the joy-filled place, as she moves like a ballerina a small bit, and she was flexible due to her stretchy figure.
She found a crystal ornament on the floor that was beautifully pink, and it had hearts on it. She skipped with it a bit before going to the square, where there was a large Spruce tree there. She placed the ornament on one of the leaf-filled branches. It glew perfectly as it blended in with the rest of the shimmering colors, and it filled Spinel with excitement.
She was hopping with excitment upon the brand new day, and she met up with a Pearl, Pink Pearl. She waved at her and gestured for her to come in contact with her, and Spinel followed, as she skipped and hopped her way over to her, and ended with a bow.
"Hiya Pink Pearl! What do you need? Is there something I can help with?"
Spinel asked, very kindly. Pink Pearl giggled as she nodded. She looked at Spinel with confidence and told her about what she needed her for, or what White needed her for.
"Ah! Well, there is something! White Diamond hss requested your presence at the Diamond Throne Room. I'm sure you will be perfectly capable of that, won't you Spinel?"
She told her excitedly. She was free to do what she could do after White freed her from her outrageous mind control. Spinel nodded, as she thanked her for the message. She then turned away and hopped excitedly over to the Diamond Throne Room, occasionally twirling. Everything was perfect! She bet it was a surprise, or something like that! White has been an absolute angel to Spinel the past week, and she wondered, and pondered on her trip about what the sudden meeting with her was for.
After much jumping, she was finally in the Diamond Throne Room, and she looked up at White with glimmering eyes. White looked a bit... off though. She didn't look happy or giddy at all, like she usually was with her. She looks.. emotionless and dull. There was a bad feeling that rose up in the room, and Spinel didn't really enjoy this feeling too much. She decided to cut the silence by asking the lingering question that was on her expectant little mind.
"So, whatcha call me her for, White?"
She asked a bit giggly, as she was excited for what one of her best friends would say, but she was the littlest bit worried that something was wrong, but Spinel just couldn't put her finger on it. White seemed strange, and she wasn't like herself.. and it was like a magenta shadow just cast over the glimmering giant, and she looked her directly on the eyes, and seemed to tower over the small gem.
"Well, Spinel... things arent working out correctly. I'm afraid you are going in much too deep.."
She said with absolutely no emotion at all, and Spinel looked a bit of a negitive emotion, but you couldn't figure out what it was. Maybe it was a hint of sadness, and Spinel always hides things from people and gems. She looked at White diamond with a slightly confused face too. She decided to ask her what was up.
"Going in much too deep?? What's going on White? Not working out correctly? Am I n-not good enough?"
She said with a huge hint of worry starting to appear in her. Was White going to abandon her? Was something not going right? Everything was going to be perfect, but something is going to ruin it...but she didn't know what was going on. This wasnt like her bestie, she would always play games with her and give her so much attention. She was always so happy about it, but why does she seem so angry and furious today, even though her voice had no emotion in it? It's like... something is at work around her, and she wants her old best friend back. Was this an opposite game? What was wrong with White? Is she still not good enough? What more does she have to change?!.. She felt like she wanted to disappear, but maybe this was just a misunderstanding.
"Exactly that.~ You aren't good enough.. and we have to dispose of you, and we both know what happens to useless gems."
White said threateningly. Spinel backed away from horror, as her eyes widened in shock. This cannot be happening... She should have never trusted White Diamond at all. Was this planned from the start? To shatter her toy once she became absolutely useless? Hah.
No.
She is strong enough to prevent that. She almost beat Steven, so why not a fellow friend? She has always been useless, and she won't get the better of her. That manipulative big faced-bitch head with a disgusting sense of style won't be able to shatter her hopes and dreams. The magical tension in the room grew stronger, and literal anger was emitting out of Spinel. Her black streaked tear marks grew a bit larger after she calmly replied to the perfect and majestic swarm of bullshit creamed corn that looked like dog crap.
"Hm~ oh no. I believe your plan has failed. You see- I'm not going anywhere without a fight. And just to let you know, shattering seems to be my specialty."
She said, with a trace of ink in the last bit of the calm threat. The magenta hue grew stronger over the glimmering perfection of sadness, as she stood up, with a glow emitting from her eyes. Spinel looked up at her mockingly, which seemed to anger the being more. Spinel threateningly glared at the menacing eyes and grinned with malice while secretly crying on the inside. She's looking threatening on the outside, but on the inside, she was sad, and was crying tears of anger. How could she!?  How could she be such a selfish gem?! Why? Steven trusted her, but she treats me like this! And I wonder, what is on the inside of a cracked diamond?
"S-snap out of it Spinel!! What's wrong with you... you don't want to hurt your best friend... it's just a misunderstanding.."
Spinel grumbled to herself mentally. There always something weird going on after she came with the diamonds. She would always act threatening, and want to hurt everyone else for a usually, very small moment. It was like hatred was still pouring out of the gem, and she didn't like it one small bit. It was wrong, and she felt very guilty afterwards. The guiltiness used to eat her up, and now it's happening more than ever. She felt like she wanted to.. lash out all the anger on Whire diamond like a tool... and she was going to do exactly that.
"Heheh~ oh wow... I was so stupid to believe you have actually changed! Golly, I'm so sorry, did I pull a small string there? Whoops! Silly me!~ Why don't I make it up to you by putting you out of your misery?"
Spinel said, full of hatred. She felt so angry, and all the pent up anger was about to release out onto a fake friend. Oh, woe is her, she seemed stressed! Well, she'll gladly amplify that. White looked at her with a confused look, and the shadowing almosed seemed to disappear. But it suddenly took over, and the eyes were glowing bright with anger.
"I'm afraid you won't be able to win this time, with my... abilities!!"
White said angrily, and then suddenly sending a beam of light to Spinel's position through her eyes, and Spinel dodged while yawning. White tries to hit every area, but Spinel was much too fast for the glorious being. She twists and turns, almost moving like a ballerina. She hurriedly looks to the left to Blue, watching through the entrance, but hiding behind a peice of white structure. She flicked a small something over to Spinel's direction, and hurriedly went away. Spinel looked at it, floating midair. Time seemed to stop for a moment, and beads of light seemed to be floating ever so slightly. She looks around, confused, while it got darker. Everything was slowing down to a greater amount, to a point of comeplete stop. Beautifully, the small object seemed to float carefully in her hand, and she noticed there was a button. The feeling didn't exactly feel the greatest, and it brought back bad memories. For a short while, she wished it would stay dream-like forever,  but she ignored the feeling, brushing it off. She fumbled with the small thing, before pressing the button she had ever so caressed. Slowly, it formed into a powerful scythe of light. It looked exactly like the rejuvenator, but the feeling was different. She looked at it once more, staring deeply into the blinding light that was it's blade. And then she realized... it didn't factory reset but just poof, and it seemed to be able to shatter the gem in a small touch. Strong enough to shatter a diamond... by the feeling of it. The thought of it scared her, and she almost wanted to put it down. She could feel herself getting connected with the weapon, and she felt it become a part of her... a part of her being.. her magic. There was a strange uneasiness in her gem, but she ignored it. She was ready to shatter-poof a diamond. She held the weapon up high, moved towards White, and charged at her. The haze seemed to quickly disapear, as White Diamond seemed to shake her head a bit, before looking shocked.
She got White. She could feel the weapon slash into her hand before feeling the essence of her about to poof, and she felt a bit relieved. But.. little did Spinel know... Diamonds had a bit more time before they poofed. Her eyes glowed ever so slightly before one of the beams hit Spinel's gem, smack in the middle of her slowfalling.
"AhHHHHHHHH!!"
Spinel's dreadful screamed seemed to echo across Homeworld, as she fell deep, on the floor. She felt her weapon clatter on the floor as she tries to move, but is limp and helpless. Her vision blurry, she sees a shining light, a beautiful object soaring, tumbling to the ground. It was White's gem... and it clattered onto the shiny floor, and the top spinned to Spinel. The gem was almost as big as her, and she tried to reach for it, but she felt her arms limping, and the pain was horrible at first, but it lessened. She could only crawl a small bit, and she felt like there was a heavy weight lifting her down. It felt like she could shatter into a million peices, but she wouldn't. Spinels were hard, almost as hard as a diamond. But she got a direct hit to it, so it was to be expected. She shuffled her feet, and reached out to the gem almost as big as her. She hugged the smooth part of it and dragged with it on the delicate flooring. She noticed the direct warp, and smiled a bit. She reached for the weapon and de-summoned it, while she dragged the humongous gem to the warp pad with her.
Carrying it was no problem with her usually, as she was even able to lift that injector easily. But with her weak body and a deeply cracked gem, it was pretty hard for her, and she felt weaker with each passing moment. Keeping her powers together was a challenge, but she was right next to the warp pad, but she was about to collapse onto the flooring, but she received a sudden boost of energy, and the cracks lessened. She looked down on her chest to see her gem glowing faintly along with a bright, rainbow, beautiful crystal that shimmered brightly, giving her energy and hope that fuffiled her somehow, and she was able to carry the gem a bit more easier,  as she stepped onto the direct warp pad, and a bright beam of light appeared. It was amazing, as she seemed to be floating, while the gem was floating aside her. The rainbow crystal give her some hope, well, while it was still ablaze. She felt calm somehow, in a world of a million colors. It was bright, and she could see stars and beautiful warm lights in outer space, as she awaited to Beach city. She hoped that once she gets there, her headache would stop, and she would go back into living happily...
