B.W. = Before Wynter

  To make Wynter, her parents had to meet. That's a whole story in itself.. but why not tell it anyways?

 We'll call her mom Mary and her father Manny. Mary had a life long friend that met Manny while Mary lived in Texas. 

   Mary and her friend constantly hung out, and one day Mary's friend had a party and decided to introduce Manny to Mary. Mary was very standoffish, to herself, rude looking, and just downright nasty. What did Manny see in her? He should have left her alone. 

  He ended up somehow getting Mary to open up. And that's when their relationship began.

  Now, Mary was two years older than Manny. So Mary was on her own, living in her own studio apartment. At 17, Manny talked his parents into letting him live with Mary.

 Mary was a college drop out by the time Manny graduated. So, Manny and Mary moved in to Manny's parent's house. That's when they found out they were pregnant with Wynter. Or so we thought. 

  Mary and Manny got married after she pressured him for a while and he caved. They got married, had their honeymoon, moved into a trailer, and then the pregnancy announcement to the family and Manny. 

See, Mary pressured Manny into getting married so she wouldn't be seen as the person who got married out of wedlock. Even though her mother was pregnant at 17 and understanding towards the subject, Mary had to make sure no one thought she did anything wrong; however, getting pregnant out of wedlock isn't necessarily wrong. 

They got married and had Wynter late December. Mary claimed Wynter was a month early. This was in fact a lie. Wynter was actually late, though that wouldn't make sense according to Mary. Remember, she was pregnant before she got engaged, so to say Wynter was early would line up with when she got married. A lot to cover up her lie, right?

From here, things only went down hill.
