It's been a year since their first encounter. A lot has happened over that time. Seokjin and Yoongi have started dating, Seokjin has made friends, and Jin has sworn to never watch that movie ever again.

Seokjin happily holds hands with Yoongi, dragging his boyfriend to the park. There was snow on the ground, and they shiver as the cold wind blows. Seokjin brings Yoongi to a tree. Seokjin smiles at the tree, while Yoongi looks at the tree confused. "Do you know what this is, Yoongi?" He glances at Seokjin briefly before turning his attention black to the tree. "A tree?" Yoongi asks. Seokjin scoffs and playfully pinches Yoongi's side. "Not just a tree. I planted it with my parents." Yoongi stares at his boyfriend.

Over the past year, Yoongi and seokjin have discovered new things about each other. Seokjin has told him that his parents had died in an aircraft accident when he was sixteen and had been alone since.

Yoongi reassuringly tightens his grasp on his boyfriend's warm hand. "Jin, if you ever need to talk, don-" Seokjin peers back at him, lightly smiling at him as tears freely roll down his cheeks. Yoongi pulls him in for a hug. Yoongi kisses his tears away, and cups his face, with a concerned expression. "Jin, I want you to know something." Seokjin blinks away his tears and glances at his boyfriend. "Go on,"

"A year ago I met the love of my life. His name is Kim Seokjin. I would do absolutely anything for him just to see his beautiful smile appear on his even more beautiful face. As these months go by, I realize that I get more in love with him as each second passes. Kim Seokjin doesn't deserve to be sad, and my favourite thing about him is that he can always see the positive side even though the light is thin. Kim Seokjin, I need you to use that right now. I need you to see the good in this scenario because no one else can." Yoongi whispers. Seokjin weakly smiles before hugging yoongi even tighter and stuffing his face into Yoongi's coat.

Seokjin realizes that if the wreck wouldn't have happened he probably wouldn't have met Yoongi. Min Yoongi, the light of his life. He would do everything he could in his power to make sure he kept loving him. Without Yoongi he would be nowhere at all.

Yoongi releases Seokjin, before pulling him down and onto the snow beneath the tree. Yoongi pulls Seokjin close and rubs his forearm. Jin listens on Yoongi's breathing before noticing that his heart was beating rapidly. "Please don't bottle it in Jin. Don't be afraid to talk to me, okay? I'll do my very best to help you in any or every way that I can." His chest vibrates as he speaks, and he gently shakes Jin's arm as he talks. Seokjin nods and huddled closer.

The two walk home in comfortable silence, with Yoongi holding on tightly to Seokjin's hand, glancing at him every once and a while.

Seokjin catches him a few times, grinning as he watches his boyfriend blush.

They enter Seokjin's apartment, Seokjin immediately heading to the kitchen with Yoongi following behind him. Seokjin takes his homemade cake out of the refrigerator, carefully and precisely cutting it into several triangles. He places two on a plate, and Yoongi gratefully takes the cake. Yoongi hops up onto the counter, with his boyfriend leaning against him in between his thighs whilst still eating the chocolate-vanilla marble treat. "You know," Yoongi begins suddenly. "We could always watch that movie again, wouldn't be too bad, right?" Seokjin almost spits out his cake. He frantically shakes his head before swallowing. "I swore to never watch that movie again, and I plan on keeping that promise," Yoongi smirks, before setting his dish on the counter beside him. "We could always check out the second one..?"

Seokjin groans, and exhales through his nose. He smacks his lips before answering. "I'm swearing to never watch that one either."

"Ooh, what about the third one?"
