When everything settled I had went to check up on River, I got to her room to see her sleeping like:
I just smiled, covering her with a blanket and whispered a soft goodnight.
-River-
"Hun wake up!" I groaned, "go away!" I put the blanket over my head. "Come on your dad made another appointment for the baby!" I heard mom. I sighed groaning getting up "fiiine!" She laughed an left. I quickly showered and changed.
-skipping to gender reveal-
I was excited, today I was getting to know the gender of my baby! I had already showered and gotten into my dress.
"River you have a guest!" I heard my dad as I wobbled downstairs. I seen him... Ares. No not the god his parents where obsessed with the god Ares. "A-Ares? What are you doing here?" He looked at me, before I knew it he was hugging me. "I'm so so sorry!" He cried as I was a bit confused but releaved. He smelled like mint and raspberries. "What's going on?" I asked. "You didnt hear?" I shook my head. "Your parents died. They killed themselves." I shrugged. "I dont care. I'm just worried about our baby." He nodded.
"Let's go talk to my dad." He looked scared making me giggle. "Dad!" He walked in and seen Ares. "Dad this is Ares the father of my baby. Ares my dad Ryan Upchurch." They shook hands N dad wanted to "talk". Grandma and I finished setting up while we waited for dads friends since I barely had any.
Ares came over to me, "that was....scary..." I smiled. "My dad is just looking out for me. He nodded, dad came over and smiled, "ready? We'll eat after." I nodded. Dad got in his car, revved it and blue came out. I screamed as I looked at Ares as he smiled. "Apollo Ares Upchurch-Thomas." Everyone was excited and Ares hugged me.
By the time we ate and the party came to an end I finally sighed in peace sitting down. "Your dad is letting me stay and do I'd jobs for him and his friends to earn money for you and the baby." I nodded smiling.
