"There is just something about her," Nick said to Finnick as they sat on a bar on the south side of Zootopia," Something that tell me...shes different."

Finnick sighed a little," Look, I know I'm the one who gave you the idea of going on that site, but Nick, all you know of her is her voice. I mean, hell, even me and Jessica are waiting till we meet before we talk about our feelings."

Nick nodded his head," Do you think my feelings will change when I realize what species she is?"

Finnick shurgged," Only you can answer that when the time comes."

Nick chuckled a little," Well, I told Judy I would call her her at 8 so I better get going."

"Alright," Finnick said," Ypu go talk to your lady."

Nick chuckled as he walked out the bar and took a cab home.

Judy was walking home toward her apartment complex, excited to talk to Nick after yet another lousy day at work. However, as she was rounding the corner, the bunny's phone rang. She looked and saw that is was her parents. She quickly answered the call," Hey guys," Judy said happily," How are you?"

"We are good, Judy," Bonnie said," Was just calling to make sure you were still coming home for a visit this weekend."

"Wouldnt miss it for the world," Judy said," Papi only turns 96 once."

"Yes, he is really excited to see you and ask all about Zootopia. By the way, how is work? You still hanging on to that cop idea?"

"Dad, as I am wearing a badge, I dont think we can call it an idea anymore, and...it has been going great. Busted three mammals this week," Judy lied, but said it with enough pride that her parents would buy it.

"Judy, we want you to be careful out there. You know me and your mother dont like this whole being a cop thing, and when you put yourself in danger, we like it alot less."

Judy groaned a little," Dad, I am 25. I think I can take care of myself."

"What if it comes to a fox?" Stu said," After what happened with Gideon Grey-"

"Dont even mention that jerk," Judy said," And dont worry, Dad, I havent even come into counter with a fox, except for one that I gave a ticket to, but that doesnt even count as socializing. And even if I did, not all foxes are the same."

"Name one good fox you have met?" Stu pushed.

Judy sighed. To be honest, her dad was right. The bunny had come into counter with almost ever species of mammal and has seen the good in all of them, but when it came to foxes....it always steered her wrong. It wasn't that she was speciest. She believed anyone can be who they wanted to be. She knows there are good foxes out there.....she just never met one.

"I got to go," Judy said," I'll see you Saterday morning."

"Ok, Judy," Bonnie said," Love you."

"Love you too," Judy said, ending the call. She then entered her apartment, got a shower, changed into something more comfortable, and opened up Z-Harmony to see if Nick was online and ready to talk.

Nick smiled widely as he saw Judy was active. As if he knew she was waiting for him, ttye fox hit the call button.

And almost instantly, she answered," Hey, Nick."

"Hey, Judy," the fox said," So, how was your job?"

"It was the same old thing. What about you? Do you have a job?"

"Well....I mean I do..." Nick was almost panicking. He hadn't taken into consideration that this mammal may not be too thrilled about talking to a criminal.

"What do you do?"

"Im.uhh...I'm in sales," Nick said.

"Oh, I was in sales back in BunnyBurrow, before i left for the police academy. What do you sell?"

"Various things," the fox said," Popcycles and Wood mostly."

"Oh, nice."

"What did you sell?"

"Well, seeing that BunnyBurrow is mostly of..well...bunny's, my family grew Carrots," Judy explained, being proud of how clever she was to word it in a way that kept her species a secret.

"That's pretty cool," Nick said," But I never asked...what is your job now?"

"Well, I guess you should know, I am an officer with the ZPD."

Nick's eyes went wide, and his heart stopped," Oh.. thats... that scary."

Judy chuckled," Whys that?"

"Well, who knows, maybe the day we meet face to face is because you arrested me."

"Do I have any reason to put you behind bars Mr. Nick?"

The fox chuckled," No you dont, Carrots."

"Do not call me that," the bunny said to the fox, but truth be told, she liked it and even blushed at the nickname.

"Well, I have to head to BunnyBurrow starting tomorrow afternoon, so I may not get a chance to talk. If I do, I'll be driving."

"Whatever you decide, Carrots. I need to go to sleep," Nick said, seeing the clock was sticking 10:30.

"Alright, Nick . Goodnight."

"Goodnight, Carrots. Love you."

Before Judy had a chance to say anything, Nick hung up, leaving Judy there dumbfounded.

"Does he really love me?"

Judy felt herself smile, because she thinks she loves him too, and she doesnt even know what he looks like.

AN- So, there it is. Yep, Now Nick knows she is a cop, and Judy has some questionable thoughts on foxes. How will this play out? Only time will tell. Till then.....
