I quickly call the gang for a group call and thankfully, they picked up quicker than lightning. A quick exchange of enthusiasm was heard through the phone along with my unstable breathing as I run through the corridors of the cold hospital.

"Lisa, did you propose yet?!" Nayeon asked me with much excitement. "Guys, you have to come quick! Help me look for Jennie! She left me a goodbye note when I went out to get her some medicine." I look around each corner and take a peep in each room. "We'll be there in five!" The girls quickly hung up and I quickly shot Nayeon a text asking for a certain person's number.

You know how important this is to Jennie, right?

I sigh and waited for her response.

From: Granny 🐰💗

Fine. This is a stupid idea, Lisa. [XXXX-XXX-XXXX]

To: Granny 🐰💗

Thanks, I hate myself for doing this but we both know I have to. See you guys in five, please hurry

I stared at the number Nayeon gave me. Should I make the call? What if they don't pick up? Ah, fuck it.

I tapped the call button and put the phone next to my ear as I continue looking for the brunette. "Hello?" a voice answered on the other line. I stop in my tracks and go silent for about a few seconds. "Hello? Who is this?" The voice spoke again.

"Hi, sorry. Uhm, it's- it's Lisa. Manoban? Back in JYG High." I shakily started. "Oh. Bye then." The voice quickly said but I quickly cut them off. "Wait! Please, I know you don't like me as much as I don't like you but please don't hang up. I need you to come to the hospital right now." I say as I enter Jennie's room again, hoping to find her there but still with no luck, she wasn't.

"Why the fuck would I do that?" "Jennie is missing and she left me a goodbye note. I know you barely even give a shit anymore and haven't been in her life for a long time already but she needs you. Now. And I can't believe I'm saying this but I need you to be here for her. Please, this is scaring me. I don't wanna lose my-" I cut myself off and take a deep breath.

"I don't wanna lose my best friend." I felt a tear roll down my cheek.

"Jesus, fine. Text me the details. I'll be there in a bit." And just like that, the other line went silent. I shot the person a text on the details and put my phone back in my pocket and went back out of Jennie's room to look for her again.

When I opened the door, it revealed Nayeon, Chaeyoung, Tzuyu, and Jihyo with the eldest holding her fist against the door looking like she was just about to knock. "Still no luck, Lis?" Jihyo frowned and gave me a hug after I give her a silent 'no'.

"Okay, one should at least stay here. Everyone else let's split up again to make it even easier to find Jen."   I suggested and they nod. "I'll stay," Chaeyoung offered. We thank her and quickly went our separate ways to look for the cat-eyed girl.

I run across the hall and look outside, making me quickly stop in mg tracks. There she was.

I widen my eyes and felt my heart skip a beat, but not in the good way I hoped to feel. I rushed to the ground floor and ran across the street, not minding the vehicles passing by.

I quickly ran towards the elevator only to see that it wasn't functioning today. "Shit," I muttered and took the stairs right next to it.

While running up the 12 flights of stairs, I took my phone out to call the person I called not too long ago. It didn't take too long before they answered.
