CHAPTER 8 ♥

*Keii's POV*

It's already Five o'clock in the afternoon when we arrive at resto.

"Uwi na tayo" i said.

"No keii, mat pupuntahan tayo. And i'm sure mag eenjoy ka" Jerel said

Hindi na ako nag abalang mag tanong ulit. Ilang sandali pa nasa isang Carnival na kami.

It's already 5:30 and the sky is nearing it's twilight. The orange sun shines gently as it sets slowly behind the sea, giving the carnival a beautiful sight.

"Wow! First time kong makapunta dito. Mostly nababasa ko lang tu sa mga books. Truly, it's really amazing here. !" I exclaim

Jerel didn't bother to responce instead he grabbed my wrist and were heading where the Giant ferris wheel was.

I stopped him .

"Why? Something wrong keii? " he asked worriedly while holding my two hands .

"Uhm, ano kasi. .  .  Parang ayokong sumakay dyan"

"Why not? Promise it's gonna be fun!"

"but i have a great fear of heights, sa iba na lang tayo sumakay or iuwi mo lang kaya ako."

Jerel faced me and out his hands on my shoulder. He stares at my frightened eyes and tries to give his convincing looks.

"Trust me" he smiles.

I just no and smiled back. And took my deepest sigh.

Jerel scorted me to a ferris wheel car. I still trembles in fear, but due to Jerel giving me his assurance, i felt a bit of safe.

The small car is two- seater ride with a large meral barwhich serves as a lock when the ride starts to move.

"Oh My! " i screamed in suprise qhen the ferris wheel starts to move.

Mas lalong humigpit hawak ni Jerel sa mga kamay ko. I looked at him and he show his assuring smile.

"Don't be afraid baby, Im just here right by your side" Jerel said

Whattt? Did he just called me baby??????!

I just responded with a smile. I gasps for an air while sweat is running through my face. I know sobrang putla ko na. And then Jerel slightly pressed my left hand.

I just smiled at him.

"You'll be safe, Just enjoy the ride ok?! "

"Ok." I nooded

We're currently on the top na, where the beautiful sunset right before our eyes

"Wow! Amazing!

"Is it your first time to witness a sunset? Jerel askes

"No, but this one . . . .it's breathtaking!" I replied

My fear starts to fade away and now I'm starting to appreaciate the view from the top if the ferris wheel.

As the ride goes down, I look at jerel and smiles at him.

"Thank you, Hindi ko tu makakalimutan"

He just nodded and smiled.

After the ride, Jerel scorted me again.

"Gentleman ka pala nu. " i said with a laugh

"Ngayun lang tu keii, kaya namnamin mo na" he laughed

"Kapal!"

"Keii, Thanks for today. To be honest I really enjoyed it. We'll do it again next time okay?" He suggested.

"Sure. I really enjoyed too , that was one-of-a-kind-experince!"

I just smiled at him and hurriedly went out of his car and headed inside our house.
