Leona bounded into the room, noticing the two chairs and going straight towards the one that was obviously made for Kira to sit in.
Kira followed her into the room silently, watching Leona basically jump into her chair, kicking her feet up onto the desk in front of her.
"Okay Detective, ask me your questions!" Leona said, narrowing her eyes with a sharp grin as Kira stared at her, both shocked and a little annoyed.
"Ms. Bower, I have to ask that you sit in the other chair, and keep this a professional setting. This is an interrogation after all. Nothing to be laughing or joking around about in the slightest."
Leona huffed, reluctantly standing back up and flopping down into the other chair, pouting quite a bit.
Kira sighed, gripping her notepad before walking over and sitting down, making sure to brush away the spot where Leona had put her feet up on.
She glanced up, seeing Leona looking around the room with curiosity, kicking her feet slightly, hitting the desk occasionally from how tall she was.
"Please refrain from kicking my desk Ms. Bower." Kira said, rubbing her forehead as she felt her patience with this girl already running thin.
Leona slowly stopped, kicking only one last time to which Kira sighed loudly.
"Right then, I'm going to hit record on this in a few seconds, and then we'll start the interrogation. Anything you say will be recorded as evidence for this case, ready?"
Leona shrugged, struggling to not keep kicking.
"Yeah sure, whatever!" She said happily, Kira narrowing her eyes at her before slowly clicking the record button.
"Leona Bower, you are being interrogated as a possible connection with the case of the murder of Zakou Rosales Mena, anything you say will be recorded and can and will be used as evidence for this case in the future. Answer honestly, are you ready?"
"As I'll ever be!" Leona chirped, staring at the detective with wide eyes and a smile.
"Right, first question, what is your relationship to Juno Castillo?"
"That's easy! He's my partner in crime!" Leona made finger guns and pretended to shoot the air, smiling widely at the detective.
"Elaborate please, crime?" Kira asked suspiciously, scribbling down a note or two.
"Childhood friend, turned business partner! We grew up together." Leona looked down at her fingernails, glancing back over at Kira.
"What kind of business exactly?"
"A service of sorts, whatever gets us the green stuff."
"Green stuff?"
"Money, that's what work is for after all!"
Kira just looked at her, seemingly analyzing the strange girl as she clasped her hands together on the table.
"You just gonna stare or are we gonna wrap this up Detective? I have no information that would be valuable to you. In fact, I came to you all with a problem and I was denied. Some kinda police service." Leona taunted, her smile falling slowly as Kira glanced off to the side.
"What was the problem you came to the station with?"
"My brothers missing. Haven't seen him in weeks."
"Weeks? Why are you just reporting this now?"
Leona froze for a minute, then quickly catching herself.
"He's never been one to stay in one place for too long, but he always called me to let me know he was okay, sibling promise." She held up her pinky in a joking manner.
"What's your brother's name Ms. Bower?"
"Mark Bower."
"Is he older or younger than you? How old is he?"
Leona paused, seemingly panicking, thinking to herself quickly.
"...29."
"So an older brother, why did you hesitate Ms. Bower?"
"Oh well you see his birthday was a week ago and so I almost said 28! I felt it wasn't right so I had to mentally check!"
"Right, well do know that as soon as this case is solved, we will get right into finding your brother. But back to Juno..."
"Ah right that shithead!"
Kira thought for a moment, tapping the end of her pencil against her chin.
"You seem to have a distaste for your so-called, 'partner in crime', how do you actually feel about him?"
Leona grinned, leaning forward slightly.
"Honestly, I kinda hate him. Only reason we keep each other around is cause we have too much shit on each other to let the other leave." Leona confessed, her eyes sparkling slightly as she narrowed them.
This caught Kira off guard, thinking quietly to herself as Leona leaned back, acting like she'd never said anything like that.
"Anything else detective?"
