Humming a song she had written a few weeks ago quietly, she drowsily ambled through the alley way, stone walls and a few stray cats and trash cans could be seen.
She wanted to hurry up so she could just go home so she could just pass out in her uncomfortable bed, even if it was for a little, but she was too tired to think about running.
Continuing on, she stopped once she saw a shadowed figure leaning against the stone wall.
They were tall, but was buff in their grey, long sleeved shirt under their sleeveless leather jacket with a cloth-made hood over their head. But what made Frisk surprised was when she saw a beard from under the hood. And open black jeans with a chain on the side.
Smiling, she ran to the man, forgetting her fatigue as she tripped on a rock she didn't notice.
Grunting softly, she lifted her body a bit with her noodle arms, still laying on cement floor, while the man, surprised, ran to her still laying figure.
"Frisk." The deep gruff man took her hand and helped her stand up. Chuckling, he asked "Pft, you good?" He asked before shaking his head with both of his hands on his hips.
Frisk rubbed the back of her neck as her nose was some-what red from the fall and hit from the awfully hard floor. Nodding, she replied "Yeah! How are you Uncle Gary?"
Laughing, he rubbed the top of frisk's head. "Haha, 's all good, but the real question 's how'r ya, kid?" He asked with his gang accent, err.. it sounded like a gang accent to her, she doesn't really know.
"Its good, just came from Orga's Restaurant." She replied with a toothy grin but gloopy eyes.
"How's that goin' for ya? Ar' they treatin' you good?" He said as he leaned on the wall again.
"Everything is alright, just tired." She smiled once again.
She looked up to Gary, even if he wasn't her actual uncle, she saw him as her uncle since him and Frisk's mother were close friends. And she had always seen Gary as the cool dude, someone she wanted to be as well, for some reason.
He smiled back, then sighed.
She knew that sigh, he always sighed that sigh when he wanted to tell her something.
Frisk looked up at him in confusion after she leaned on the wall besides him.
"So what are you doing here anyway?" Frisk asked, which Gary replied in a childish manor.
"What? Am I not allowed t' see Natasha's kid just cuz'?" He asked in a dramatic pose, gasping jokingly. Frisk giggled.
She also knew he never comes to her without reason. being the busy man he is, she understood why.
Frisk then smirked with her eyebrow arched with a face 'Really? Just tell me.' while she crossed her arms.
He chuckled "Well, there is one thing i wanted to tell ya."
He said while frisk giggled once again, then stood straight to listen carefully.
"So.." He started.
"We foun' the antidote" Frisk jumped in shock
...
"Hm?" Frisk asked, thinking she didn't hear him well. He chuckled
"We Foun' The Antidote For Ya Lame Dad"
Frisk's eyes widened
"What?!!" Frisk asked with her hands on the sides of her head.
"I Said We-" "I know what you said!" Frisk interupted
"I just- Wha- I- What-??"
He laughed
Frisk just stood there, processing what he said.
She brought her pupils up at Gary's laughing face.
"Man, Your reaction 's priceless!" He said through laughs.
Frisk stood there, then pinched the bridge of her nose before smacking his arm.
"Way to drop a bomb!" Frisk grunted as Gary continued to laugh.
After he calmed down, Frisk asked
"So... Did you really...?" Frisk asked with pure hope in her eyes as she tilted her head.
Nodding his head, he replied "'d never joke aroun' about somethin' like this."
Frisk rolled her eyes. "You just did."
"Did I really? I didn' realize, whoops." He said with a goofy shrug.
Shaking her head, she laughed with tears in her eyes, sniffing.
Gary looked down and his eyes softened.
"But, we don' have em' in our grasps yet. We will, not yet tho."
She smiled at him after she rubbed the small tears from her eyes.
"Thank you."
He chuckled. "I guess after i give it to ya', i'd have payed back your mom."
He chuckled as he stood straight from his leaning position. Placing his left hand in his pocket, he waved at Frisk as he walked off to the exit of the alley.
"Wait! Come over! You can drink some tea!"
He stopped and chuckled, turning her way before exiting the alley.
"If ya don' hav' booze, count me out. 'm a busy man" He pointed hand guns before turning to leave.
Frisk waved as she watched him leave.
Sighing, she continued to walk home, only this time, she smiled with tears rolled down her cheek.
