A sentence I never thought would cross my mind
When I first met him I thought he was a jerk, now I'm thinking this might work
I want to get closer to him but that just reminds me of Connor again
I thought we were just playing around
Maybe I'm blind
My friend says there's more to be found
Then again he is so kind
"You are to good for him, I'm trying to set him up with my cousin"
Thanks for bursting my bubble again
My sister tells me he's really cute
I don't know what to say so I just stay mute
We were just playing, it's amazing what people are saying
I don't know what to think
I'm standing on the brink
Then I think about that dream
I told her it's not what it seems
I don't like him, or maybe I do
I have to keep telling myself 'he doesn't like you'
But then again that might not be true
