I Love You More

Courtney's P.O.V. :

I smell bacon burning as I wake up to find Duncan's shirt lying on the floor and Jillian baking. "It's 5:00 and your baking Jill?" I ask my roommate in the dorm, besides DUNCAN. "Duncan made you something," Jill said pointing at the bacon. "I take it he's with Gwen?" I say as I pull my shirt on and pick up Duncan's shirt and underwear. "I swear!" I groan as I throw the clothes in the washing machine.

Gwen's P.O.V. :

I was studying in the library reading up on art when Duncan kissed me on the cheek. "You are DISGUSTING!" I say as I rub his kiss/SALIVA off my cheek. "That doesn't mean that you don't like me!" Duncan says as he picks the book out of my hand. 

Duncan's P.O.V. :

I walk to the side of Courtney's dorm as I see Courtney crying, "What's the matter princess?" I ask as she runs off and the bell for period one rings, "Dam...".

Gwen's P.O.V. :

As I go into the first period which I have with Courtney I see she's not in her normal seat. "What's the matter?" I ask as Courtney places a hoodie over her head. "Why does Duncan like you? I thought we were BFFs! But now I see you hanging out with my 'boyfriend' when he doesn't even say good morning to me!" Courtney yells at me as I stare at Jill and she shrugs. The next period I run up to Duncan, "Duncan, you need to show Courtney that you care for her! She thinks you don't even love her anymore!" I say as Duncan nods and walks off with Geoff and his friends.

Duncan's P.O.V. :

As I walk to my next period DJ asks me how I am going to get back Courtney, "A text maybe?" I say as DJ slaps me, "Get REAL here Duncan! You guys have been dating for 6 years now!" DJ says to me as I look down. "O.K., I'll take her on a date," I mutter as Geoff hi-fives me and I walk to PE as DJ goes to animal studies.

(Later that day)

I look at the clock, one more period. I had been thinking of something for a while, I needed a gift for graduation in a week and this could be my shot! 7 days to go before I was officially an adult and I got to make the calls. I had to do this.

Courtney's P.O.V. :

I was studying with Jill at the desk when a note slipped under the door, "Jill, practice on math, I have to go out real quick!" I say as I place on my nicest clothes and grab my bag and the car keys to meet at the sushi bar. I walk inside to see Duncan with his hair placed to the side and in a green tuxedo, "I love you," he says after I grab my bag about to leave, "What?" I ask as I see him get down on one knee, the others clap as I see Geoff and DJ in the crowd cheering him on. "Courtney Barlow, will you marry me?" he says as the world turns upside down and one word comes out of my mouth: "Yes,".

(Aftermath:)

"Do you remember what you said to me before you proposed?" I ask Duncan as we lay in bed together officially married, "Yeah, I said I love you," Duncan says with a smile, "Well," I say, "I love you more,".
