Part 34: I'll Be Fine

I walk in to mrs O'brien room where some other teachers are as well.

M: hi everyone

Mrs O: hi Molly please have a seat

Mrs O: so you wanted to know how your doing in school?

M: yea I'm wondering if I could still pass the year if I went on a vacation for 3 weeks?

Mrs O: well where were you for the past month or so?

M: oh umm I was out of the country

Mrs O: look Molly this school isn't some "come whenever you like and leave whenever you like" you got selected to come here and we expect you to stay here.

M: look I'm sorry ok, I wish I could explain to you why I left but the reasons are too personal, I'm not allowed to share them with anyone

Mrs O: personal reasons, yea we get that alot.

I can barley concentrate, my hand hurts so much, its stopped bleeding. But it aches so much.

Mrs O: Molly you either stay here for the rest of your schooling years or you go on that vacation and never come back. Its up to you

M: I'm staying ok. I got to go now, thank you for your time

Mrs O: ok bye now.

I walk out of the office towards the carpark. I see Caleb

C: hey Molly look I'm really sorry for what Hannah said to you

M: you dont have to be sorry you did nothing wrong

C: I know I just feel bad, you know shes always hated you

M: no I didnt.

C: yea, uhh I dont even know why I told you that, but I thought you better know. Good punch by the way

M: haha thanks, are you 2 still dating?

C: yea, but after what she said today I dont think I can do it anymore aye, she always bosses me around and yells at me and embarrasses me in front of her other friends

M: look I'm not being biased or anything but I hate they way she treats you, your better off without her.

C: yea I know, I'm going to talk to her tonight.

M: ok well good luck, it was really great seeing you again Caleb, ive missed you

C: ive missed you too, are you coming back to school?

M: yea

C: oh yay!

I hug Caleb and then drive into town to meet the boys.

I arrive in town, I'm walking everywhere feeling a bit yuck because of the pain in my hand. I go to sit down, when I feel a hand on my shoulder,

D: hey babe, you ok?

M: hi Daniel, yea I'm fine

Daniel goes to hold my hand and I moan in pain

D: oh my gosh Molly what the hell happened to your hand??

M: I punched Hannah

D: you what!!?!?

M: yea

D: we need to get that checked out, its all swollen

M: no ill be fine, its just a bruise

D: yea right, a bruise that goes all around your hand and swells it up, look I'm taking you now

M: no Daniel I'm fine ok, we can just go home and put some ice on it

D: uhh ok fine, but if it gets worse I'm taking you to a doctor ok

M: yea ok.

My hand hurts so much, I feel I'm going to pass out from the pain.

Daniel's POV

I cant believe she actually punched Hannah I'm so proud of her. But Molly looks like shes in a lot of pain, her face has lost all its colour.
