Epilogue

In the middle of New Criterion City, a huge stage has been set up in a park. All of Criterion's inhabitants were gathered at the foot of the stage, and all over the city advertisement holograms displayed the words 'Criterion 10th Colonization Anniversary'. It has been 10 years since the Dominion has colonized this planet, and everyone has come to celebrate.

  An old woman came onstage with a small robot holding a microphone in front of her and addressed the crowd. Good morning, fellow citizens. Today marks a very special day for our planet, and for this year's celebration, I would like to invite five very special people onstage, to tell the tale of how an ancient abandoned colony discovered the Dominion thanks to their own actions. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome onto the stage Liam Benson, Jenna Corgan, Audrey Klinger, Sam Corgan and Hannah Buxter!"

  The five friends marched onstage. They were now all 36 years old, with children of their own. Simon sat down at the foot of the stage watching six kids of various ages.

  "Welcome, Liam," the old woman said. "First, may you please introduce your family?"

  "With pleasure," he said. "Those three children are Charlie, Penelope and Jennifer, me and Jenna's children. those two blonde twins are Amy and Max, Audrey and Sam's children. And that red-haired kid over there is Lily, Simon and Hannah's daughter."

  The old woman smiled and waved at them. "They're quite adorable, aren't they? Now let's move on to the important part-how did you make contact with the Dominion?"
