Chapter 5

Dahyun's Perspective

Princess Sana and I was triggered when we heard some loud noises outside.

"What's that? Why is it so loud? Is that normal here?" She asked confusedly.

"To be honest, I don't know what's happening outside. When it's already late here, the children are sleeping because that's the routine we kept. There is a curfew for the kids so that they are always safe."

"Well then, what was that noise that we've heard?"

Sana was supposed to take a peak from the window to see what's going on but I stopped her.

"Hey, don't look. Don't you know that you're hiding here? What if they saw you? They'll drag you there back in your palace." I stated to Sana as I help the princess to sit back from my bed.

"Right, I'm sorry..." Sana apologized.

"No, it's okay. Just wait here, I'll go take a look."

I peaked at the window and saw the soldiers and servants that are from the palace. I was shocked and at the same time, confused too. I told Sana to wait there in my room while I approached my mother.

"Mother? Why are the servants here in our place?" I asked cluelessly and out of curiousity.

"Your father came here and said tgat Princess Sana is missing. They are searching for her until now. He asked me if I have an idea but of course I don't have because I just left there yesterday." Mother explained and my eyes widened while I sweat nervously.

"I-Is that s-so? Okay, m-mother..." I struggled with my words. I go back to my room to find the missing princess pacing back and forth. She stopped once she saw me.

"What is that commotion outside?" She asked.

"It's the servants of your palace and they are searching for you! What should you do now!?" I'm afraid what would happen if they find the lost princess here. Would they thought that we kidnapped her?

"I'm sorry but I don't have any idea for now." I knew she would say that.

I sighed to keep myself calm. "No, it's okay. But I want to ask you, why did you follow my mother? And why are you not there in the palace? That is a place that everyone have wished to be inside of. Even if they would just be a servant or a soldier." Don't she know that her life would have been much more relaxing when you can have anything you wanted?

"Oh, a happy place? Yeah, right. Many people thought that the palace is a happy place, but that's just what they thought. It's really hard to be a part of it. It's, like you're in a prison and you need to listen to them and do what they say and If you'll not there are so many consequences that you will face.
You will feel tired of it and It's always like that, everyday. If they know about that thing, would they still think that the palace is a happy place?" I never thought that being a royalty is also very tiring and difficult even for a princess like her.

"Oh, I think get it. Although, I've never been there before I understand what you're predicting to." Sana smiled at me which made my heart kinda like jump up.

"Thank you, Dahyun..."

"But still, we should have a plan. You can't stay here forever. You still have go back to your place because your parents might get worried about you." I told her with worried eyes and tone. I mean, what would happen to their family if she isn't found by the palace's servants and soldiers?

"I know this is hard but please... Give me more time and I'll thought of a plan. I promised that I will tell it to you and I'll go back in the palace. But not now, this is not the right time for that." She told me in a reassuring manner. But, I can't still understand why does she want to stay here for that long?

"But why?"

"My parents are searching for the next queen and king. They want me and my elder sister, Princess Momo, to have an exam and challenges. The one who'll pass all of it will be the next ruler and will be married to Prince Yutzu." She explained to me. Wow, I can't believe that she'll face that kind of situation for her age.

"Wow that was so fast, but aren't too young for that?"

"I know, but it's normal for us with royal families."

"But, don't you want to be a Queen and be the leader of your family's kingdom? I think it's the best role for you because you're kind
and all. Even if I just met you a while ago." I praised and complimented her, well it's the truth, though. I laughed slightly.

She giggled slightly. "What a flaterrer you are." I chuckled while rubbing the back of my neck. "Please help me with this, okay?"

"You got it, Princess Sana." I said while giving her a thumbs up and a wink, while showing her my dorky smile.

Welp, I think I'm already implicated on this. So no backing up!
