Vanessa was sitting strangely in my room. She had rearranged everything. It was all pink and bright.
She moved herself in with me!!
"Uh. . . Vanessa what's going on?" I asked.

"Oh nothing. I just thought you'd wanna be roomies that's all. Hope that's okay!" She giggled.
"Um. . . Dr. Hagen said he heard the phone ring from here. Was it Jules?"
"Huh? Jules!? No. I honestly think she forgot about you." Vanessa said.
It wasn't the words, it was how she said it. So bubbly.
"Who was it?"
"My father. He just called about to check on me."
I nodded and opened my drawer to throw on my boxers.
I could feel Vanessa watching me.
It felt awkward and I quickly threw myself in bed. I turned off the light and Vanessa sighed happily before laying down. I heard her digging like she was putting something away.
I ignored it and closed my eyes.
After a few hours of being awake because I couldn't sleep, I thought of Vanessa and a new thought blared through my mind.
