Chapter 8

Chapter 8: I don't wanna lose, Barry

Hope's POV:

Dad and I had training all day long and after that I got home to shower and to changes my clothes. I opened the door and saw Elena sitting on a chair waiting for me. 

"Hey, Mom. The training with Dad today was awesome! We had a lot of fun." I said as I was about to close the door but I noticed that she had her 'Mom look' on her face, that look when something happened or I didn't help her to clean the house or I was in trouble or the same look Rachel had when she told Ross that she got out of the plane. 

"Okay, what is going on?" I asked her and went some steps towards her. 

"We need to talk about what happened yesterday." I sighed and sat on my bed. 

"Mom, I told you everything is fine." 

I knew it was the 'I'm in trouble look'. 

"Hope, you tried to kill Barry yesterday because of Spencer Young, nothing is okay. I'm worried about you both." 

"Dad is okay and so am I. I think-" I looked at her and took a deep breath "I think you're the one who is not okay. Losing Dad is something you're afraid of." 

"I'm fine, honey." 

I interrupted her "I know you in the future, Mom. I always notice when you were in your bedroom alone...crying. Not everyday but those days where you saw a picture of him, his clothes or anything that had to do with The Flash. You even avoided the Flash Museum." 

Mom looked sad and had tears in her eyes. She wiped them away and said to me "You're right. I don't wanna lose, Barry. He's my husband, my family, my home and your dad. I'm a wreck in the future." 

She laughed at her own words and so did I. I stood up and took mom in my arms. 

"But you still have me. I'm not going anywhere and yeah I can take it better than you do." We both smiled. 

"Okay, I think I should go. Do you have any plans or do you want to watch a movie with your boring parents?" 

I shaked my head "No, I want to go to the Party at the Park with Joe, Cecile and Iris. They asked me to come. I'll just take a shower and change." 

Mom nodded, kissed my head, I smiled. She left the room.

Elena's POV:

I went down to the living room where Barry sat on the couch watching the news. He looked so comfy. I love when he looks so comfy on the couch I just want to f- okay I'm not going to finish this sentence. I sat down on the couch right next to him, Barry looked at me and smiled. He put his right arm around me. 

"Hey, where were you?" Barry asked. 

"I talked to Hope. Did you know she goes out with the West Family?" 

he nodded and returned "Yeah, Joe told me." 

I nodded at him and looked down, but Barry knows me to good that's why he knew something were up with me and asked "You're okay, babe?"

I took a deep breath, nodded, smiled and put my hair behind my ear "Everything is fine when you're here with me." Barry smiled and kissed me on the lips.

Some minutes past by and we heard Hope coming down the stairs. 

"Mom? Dad? I'm gonna go now. See you later." 

We both looked at her and smiled. She looked so pretty in that dress that she wore. 

"Do not speak to cute boys, do you hear me?" Barry said and Hope nodded. 

"If a boy speaks to you tell them I'm a cop." 

I laughed "You're just a forensic scientist at the CCPD." 

"But they don't know that." Barry and I argued. 

"Okay, byeee." Hope shut the door of the apartment. We both looked at the door. 

"So now that we are alone...do you wanna watch a movie?" 

"Yeah, of course." Barry replied. 

"Belly Burger and fries sounds good, right?" I asked him with a puppy face. 

Barry laughed at me and said "Okay, fine! I will put a jacket and shoes on. I'll be back in a flash." 

"Stay safe and don't come back with the cops. Oh wait...you're cop." I joked. 

"Yeah, yeah. Make fun of me, but don't say anything later when I take you on the bed with my handcuffs." 

I opened my eyes wide and was speechless. Barry was gone in a flash. 

"Okay which movie?" I asked myself.

Barry's POV:

Before I went to the Belly Burger place I had to stop by at the Park to see Hope. I stood right next to the street so that she couldn't see me. 

I saw her dancing with a friend of Cecile and I smiled. She looked so happy and I could tell she had a lot of fun. 

I just thought about that, that I'm never gonna see her grown into this beautiful young adult that she is now. I'll miss all of this. Leaving Elena with Hope and Team Flash makes me really sad. 

Some weeks ago I didn't know that this is what I needed. I needed Hope to come to our lives. To make us a real family before I vanish. 

I head tears in my eyes and one tear escaped so I wiped it off my face. 

I looked at her one last time and I was about to go but then I saw how a boy looked at Hope, my daughter Hope! 

"Oh hell no...we'll talk about this when she gets home." I told to myself and left. 

I'm on my way to Belly Burger and then back to my wonderful wife.

I'm so sorry that it took me so long to post the next chapter. I was so busy with work and school, but now I'm back! Today I'll post two chapters! Sounds good?
