Peter smiled as he held his figure out for the baby in his arms to take. The small child giggled and played with his new father's finger. Sam almost cued when he walked in on this.
"Hey babe," he said, walking into view and sat next to said person. He kissed Peter's cheek and looked at the small child in his husband's arms. Small blue eyes looked back at him. The baby had black hair like Sam's and blue eyes like Peter's. It was quite cute. Of course, the team had coed over her.
"She looks more like you," Peter noted. Sam laughed.
"And that's a bad thing?" He asked. Peter gave him a deadpan expression.
"Yeah it's bad because she'll have your horrible puns and annoyingness," Peter replied. Sam pouted at this, which in turn made Peter laugh and kiss him.
The broke apart and Peter laid his head on Sam's shoulder. Sam noticed the clock and his eyes widened.
"Babe, it's 11:00 pm, we should get up to bed," Sam said. Peter nodded and got up, Sam following.
They put Elena to bed and laid down themselves. As soon as they dozed off, they heard Elena crying.
Peter sighed. "Don't worry, babe, I'll get it," Sam said, kissing Peter's forehead and going to the baby's room.
Peter smiled as he heard Sam stumble around to their daughter's room. If this was the rest of his life, then he was willing to let it be like this everyday.
